Food quality and courteous staff justifies the popularity of the restaurant. Preparation of Pomfret seem to be most popular dish and other dishes are also quite good. Staff is courteous and food is served quite promptly. After having done marketing, the place was worth the visit.

Went to this place for the first time for lunch. Ordered for a fish thali with butter garlic prawns. All items in thali were superb. However the prawns butter garlic was not up to the mark. Service was good and ambiance too was good. Worth visiting again.

We read lot about this restaurant, but food was ok kind. We ordered special Goa thali meals but sabzi and roti are cold. Lunch served is not hot , it seemed they prepare everything before and serve as guests come. Place clean and ambience of ac hall is good . But food is ordinary quality

Been here a couple of times before and this time ordered a plate of clams and a tawa fry kingfish in the upstairs a/c place. The former was a large portion in terms of number of clams though the masala overwhelmed everything. The fish was 2 slim pieces, spicy and overdone and was priced at 550/, Wow.

Started off great but it lost its steam over the years. Was here in November and the quality, service and food has changed. Was very dissapointed hope it picks up again. Liked the ambiance and the proximity from hotels

Had a great experience here! Because of the great reviews, we ordered fish thali and it was delicious! We also ordered butter chicken and roti which we would also recommend. Pricing was very reasonable. Don’t be put off by the look from the outside, once you go up the stairs the seating is comfortable and lots of locals were eating here.

Was keen on having lunch at Kokni Canteen but after 40 minutes of waiting and still no sign of getting a table, on recommendation from Prakash our very friendly cab driver cum guide, we visited Casa Bhonsle. This was also crowded on a Christmas eve afternoon but the food was good and service ecellent. We had Chilly Prawn (Goan), Goan Prawn Curry (with Kokum) and rice and Fruit Punch. Loved the food and service.

Am always on the lookout for good fish thalis. This was recommend by a foodie to try out the thali. We get to Panjim for work and need to have a quick meal, in and out and thalis are the best option.
We were 5 of us. All got the same fish thali. And one extra masala fired fish.
The thali was great with the staples. Tasty prawn curry, and king fish fry.
Nice large place on top and was full for lunch. Reasonable prices, quick service. Definitely gong back again.

The restaurant is located centrally, on the first floor. There is sufficient public parking space near the restaurant, but finding a space to park on weekdays, especially during lunch time, is difficult.
The dining space was spacious, with soothing ambiance. The cleanliness and hygiene was good. The service was reasonably quick. The restaurant was not crowded but had reasonable occupancy.
It is a multi cuisine restaurant, which served Veg and Non Veg dishes, though they specialise in Sea Food. The food here costly compared to some other restaurants nearby. However, the restaurant gives a fine dine experience, which justifies its pricing.
We, office colleagues, had visited for lunch and ordered Fish Thalis. The food appeared authentic and was appreciated by all, in our group.
Overall, a good option to have food at Panaji.

Fish thali at Casa Bhonsle: Sheeth-Kodi with fried Viswon fish. Accompanied by R>L: French beans with coconut, mackerel in chili sauce (this should be eaten as pickle in very small amounts but the chef had other ideas), tissreo (clams) in a coconut curry, fried dry prawns and lastly a digestive made of kokum (hence pink color) with coconut milk, finely chopped chili and coriander with salt and jaggery to taste. 😋 #FishThaliHeaven
Drink: Lime soda with a pinch of sugar+salt - the 🍒 gives it a glamorous touch (I can picture Bond saying, shaken not stirred 😂)
Dessert: Serradura (bottom right. Well-known dessert of Macau, a layered combination of whipped cream and crumbled Marie biscuit.) and top-left Tender coconut soufflé. Serradura carries the day!!

I was out shopping with the family and as dinner time approached decided to walk into Casa Bhonsle to satisfy my seafood craving.
We started out with Chicken Lollipop, Squids Batter fry and Rava fried Prawns. The starters came out piping hot and delicious and disappeared in a jiffy washed down with Bira beer from the tap.
For mains we had Prawns Curry Rice with Chonak Rava Fry. A plate of Prawn Kismoor is given complimentary with The curry. The sea food was fresh and beautifully prepared.
Desserts was caramel custard and Tender Coconut Souffle which was so yummy that we had a second helping.
We thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
