Surrounded by upmarket options, this restaurant has stood the test of time in keeping its prices reasonable and making this a good value for money option. They also deliver in the local area which makes it convenient if one does not want to step out.

Ambience, staff and the food is out of this world. It feels like home however it is home brought to you outdoors.

We went here 4 times over our trip, from the outside, it looks dark, but you know if locals are eating there, it’s going to be good... we had 2 children with us and they accommodated there lack of adventure with spices. Very friendly and...extremely good value... 1700rps for a dinner for 6 with drinks... would highly recommend, even the chicken biryani came in a heart shape. The owner is a lovely lady that runs the shop next door and welcomes feedback....More

I didn't like the food or the service here but it is handy if you want to grab some drinks. It is an open place and very close to where I stay so I had been here quite sometime.

My wife & I visited this place after reading the reviews for dinner & I have to say they are way better than many other restaurants where I have eaten in Goa.. as mentioned by other reviewers don't let the appearance mislead you.. Staff is...very friendly and quick.. We wanted only vegetarian food and the restaurant had pretty decent options... also was tasty.. We ordered chilly paneer, Manchow soup, French fries, Kadai paneer with pulkas and jeera rice.. Along with some drinks.. All this for less than 1k.. Will surely visit again... 👌👌👍👍More

Visited for dinner during the stay at Cidade de Goa. While the reason was the proximity to resort, we made a repeat visit, because of the good food, reasonable price and good service. Good place.. will recommend

An easy place to just walk past without a second thought but do not let looks deceive you. This place had some of the best food we ate in Goa. Great, simple Indian and Chinese food done properly and with care. Cheap too. Very friendly,...attentive staff. We had lunch practically every day there for a week. So much better than the overly Westernised and quadruple priced fare at Cidade de Goa.More

I was in India first time and it was not good expirience. But I was glad to find this nice restaurant. Delicious food on fresh air. Helpful staff. Large portion. It was about 15 minutes from our hotel. Noodles with prawns was exellent. And those...souse for spring roll, sharp but so tasty.More

Don’t be put off by the slightly unassuming appearance - the food here is superb! Very reasonably priced and delicious food, particularly the prawn dishes which I had a few times! The portion sizes are good too, rice would comfortably serve two to three people...and starters aren’t much smaller than the mains! They were also happy to “knock up” something that wasn’t on the menu with little fuss so that was appreciated too. Service is also good and friendly so can recommend this place highly!More

Great food at real Goan prices just at the top of the hill entrance to Cidade de Goa. We had butter chicken on our first night in Goa after being scared off by the prices in the Cidade. It was lovely. Several cheap beers, honey...bees and old monks later we left very happy. This place is the only real easy option for those staying at the hotel but wanting to eat out. We will definitely be back before we leave. Thanks for being there!More

We arrived in Goa yesterday and are currently staying in Cidade De Goa on a B&B basis. We were told eat at soft rock by a few couples but normally we like to do our own thing and finds places for our selves however we...decided to head there tonight for our meal. Great food, friendly service and overall fantastic meal. Price wise the cidade is day light robbery compared to soft rock, we had more food and more beer at soft rock and it came to 1/3 of the price. Don’t be fooled by the location on tripadvisor and IPhone maps, if you google soft rock it shows you the correct location on the main road 5 minutes from cidade. The food was amazing and we shall be making a return fairly shortly.More
