The place is right in the center of the city . This is the first time we tried it ..else our usual option is Ritz classic . Both places have long wait depending on the rush. This looks and feels better than Ritz .lately Ritz...food quality has been on the decline...the seafood here is awesome...we ordered 4 bappa thalis ..the fish was fresh and tasty..( rawa fry prawns, sear, kismoor, tisre, crabs, mackarel curry) , the sol kadi was perfect. The girls tried the local dessert delicacy serradura..which was good too..even the fresh lime sodas were done well...the internal decor is nice and the place is clean...will go there again, the next time I am in Goa ..More

Hello Flour Plan, thank you for the lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed the traditional Goan food and dining experience we offer. We look forward to hosting you again.
High on taste and genuine Konkani style cuisine, this eatery offers a plethora of dishes from the coastal belt. A good range of cocktails and drinks go as a good accompaniment to the food. A definite must visit for any Goan tourist.

Veg thali and fish...thali and bebinca are delicious.
Economical too , the service is efficient too.
The washrooms weren't too clean may be due to over crowding.
To enjoy food here one needs to have appetite.

It's an over-hyped place with a huge wait. Okay, accepted, it's a good place so one needs to wait. Let's talk about the food - I ordered a fish thali. While the taste is okay, it missed the zing/character, meaning, I don't recall any specific...part of the food that would take me back to this place. Everything was subtle, like for the average tourist. Then the variety of items in the fish thali - it also had crab, and mussels, and what not... well, it confuses the taste palette. But yes, it is great for people who want a bang for their buck! Not me... Not in this case, at least. And lastly, the food is served by non-Goans. Can't say who the chefs are! Nothing against equality and opportunity of employment, but it kills the experience. It's a like, if one goes to Japan and visits a 100 year-old Japanese traditional restaurant, and the food is served by someone from Sri Lanka who cannot even speak Japanese... would you call it a great experience? Over all it is an okay place for "regular tourists".More
