It's an over-hyped place with a huge wait. Okay, accepted, it's a good place so one needs to wait. Let's talk about the food - I ordered a fish thali. While the taste is okay, it missed the zing/character, meaning, I don't recall any specific...part of the food that would take me back to this place. Everything was subtle, like for the average tourist. Then the variety of items in the fish thali - it also had crab, and mussels, and what not... well, it confuses the taste palette. But yes, it is great for people who want a bang for their buck! Not me... Not in this case, at least. And lastly, the food is served by non-Goans. Can't say who the chefs are! Nothing against equality and opportunity of employment, but it kills the experience. It's a like, if one goes to Japan and visits a 100 year-old Japanese traditional restaurant, and the food is served by someone from Sri Lanka who cannot even speak Japanese... would you call it a great experience? Over all it is an okay place for "regular tourists".More
