Had heard about this place from a local. Ended up here as a part of a Food Walk, and Viva Panjim didn't disappoint. It's a family home turned restaurant in the streets of Fontainhas. Had the Chicken Xacuti, Prawn Vindaloo, Vegetable Caldinha with Pav for...dinner, along with Feni Limca - The original Feni Cocktail. Also tried the Bebinca and Serradura and that was the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend you guys check it out. You won't regret it.More

Beautiful heritage home turned into a restaurant. Nice place, good food. Service a bit slow. Overall nice experience. Must visit place for authentic Goan cuisine. Prawn Curry with Goan rice, Veg Goan curry with Basmati rice is delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed afternoon lunch.

Awesome food with authentic Goan flavours. The Fish curry with Goan rice was truly amazing and brought that old Goa taste (while most other restaurants serve curry with basmati rice). Also their cocktails, especially the Fenny based were wonderful. Serving was fast and the atmosphere/decor...made it feel like having food in a heritage Goan home.More

A well known and award winning restaurant, Viva Panjim is located uniquely inside a byalley in the Fontainhas quarter. It serves a good variety of Goan food, both the Konkani and the Portguese variety. We tried lots of things across two occasions. The must-have is...surely their Chilly Chicken Fry cooked in Goan spices. As also their Prawn sauteed in goan spices. The Apricot sauce steak (Pork/Chicken we tried both) is unique and worth a try. The goan curried dishes are good but not great. We had their Portuguese- Macanese dessert- Seradura which in recent times has become a Goan favorite. It is an absolutely sinful and awesome dessert. Their ambience and cozy inn type setting makes for long, liesurely lunches or dinners... Do try it onceMore

Viva Panjim in Fontainhas is an absolutely incredible restaurant that should not be missed. Its ambience exudes a perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Our visit was made even more memorable by the attentive and knowledgeable service...provided by Alok, a true gentleman who guided us through the menu and recommended delightful options tailored to our preferences. The overall experience was excellent, and the Orange Honey glazed chicken steak, in particular, proved to be a truly worthwhile indulgence. The flavors, presentation, and value for money exceeded our expectations, leaving us thoroughly satisfied with our dining experience at Viva Panjim.More

The food was awesome.... It is a house converted in to a hotel. We had Veg and Non-veg food. In fact, we had one of the best Veg. Sizzlers here. Satya helped us to choose dishes and thanks for it. Yes, the food was awesome,...but the praise the staff has for the owner of the restaurant make this place more likeable. We will definitely visit Viva Panjim whenever we visit Panjim for sure... Kudos to the entire team!!!!!More

Lovely small Goan restaurant hidden in the back streets of Fontainhas. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, we had Vegetable Biryani and Chicken Cafreal, both delicious. Would definitely recommend visiting but you need to get there early to bag a table!

The restaurant is not very easy to find, somehow hidden in a side small street. It doesn’t only have Goan food, but also continental/Italian and Chinese. I went for local delicacies, though not the very spicy ones. The chicken Cafreal was delicious and so was...the Goan Vegetable Caldinha. Unfortunately, traveling solo I could not taste more plates. Sad. The atmosphere is simple but engaging. Small but quite busy. The service good and the waiters knew well the dishes. Highly recommended.More

Food was very oily. Reminded me of bad Indian restaurants in UK. We ordered off the Goan menu and it was not Goan. More like North Indian. Would never return.

This restaurant provides excellent food at very modest prices. Service is excellent. The menu is comprehensive and tantalising. The pork and the curried prawns were both superb. Well worth visiting. I would definitely go there again, but there is lots of competition in Panjim and...not enough days!More

Ambience- Local, homely Hospitality- Very warm Food quality- Doable, not great Value for money- Good We went there for dinner. I am a vegetarian so I had the local rice and veg in coconut gravy. It was very well prepared. My husband had Goan Prawn...curry and felt it was an average preparation. What I liked was the local feel, the simplicity with which we were served and since we went there pretty pate, there was a lot of peace too.More
