Check out the empanadas, the humitas, and the quimbolitos as all are delicious here. Nice place for lunch or dinner.

Following a long bus ride we happened upon this charming restaurant. We had a large salad, simple but fresh and safe to eat, some guacamole and chips and a sandwish. Everytging was tasty, nothing fancy. The servive was outstanding and the decor of the restaurant absolutely lovely.
I am no expert regarding Mexican food, but the vegetarian burrito was good, nicely presented and definitely enough for 1 person. The service was friendly and they catered to special requests, clearly making an effort to ensure that the kitchen staff doesn't forget. The interior design is somewhat harvest themed, which is a bit odd but very cosy.
First of all, this is a restaurant very close to the market and is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the local plaza on Saturday. It serves mainly Mexican-based dishes along with pizza and pasta options. Vegetarian friendly. Food is not spicy. it is super clean and most of all, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming... We stopped in here a couple days ago because we had just been on a nice long hike around Laguna Cuicocha. We took a quick look at the menu and decided to keep walking and the hostess knew it so she "sold" us on an Almuerzo for $4.50 It sounded nice so we bit the bullet and stayed. When the... More
My family went to this café for a lunch time meal. The food was really good, the service excellent and the place spotless. You could have eaten off the floor without any fear of getting food poisoning! Would recommend this café without any hesitation.
This was a quaint place we found on our last night in Ecuador. I wish I had found it sooner as I would have eaten here every night. The hostess was wonderful and very gracious. The woman in the back who prepared our food and brought it to our table was lovely. Delicious food. I had a chicken quesadilla which... More
Greeted at the door by charming and friendly smiles. Unusual decor but not unpleasant, light filled room with clean tables. The menu has English translations and good variety of classics. The passionfruit juice is delightful and the garlic bread was a sensational starter choice (we shared 1 serve between 4)... I had the fajitas, which were delish. Fresh and yummy.... More
I ate there twice and would repeat but I'm leaving tomorrow. Now that I think about it, I may go for a 3rd time today. The hostess is extremely gracious and the service was very attentive.
