The terrace restaurant "SISA" in Otavalo is wonderful, this place was built from a great Washo Maldonado's dream that is to promote the conservation of Otavalo's culture. The "sisa" word in the kichwa language means "flower" but it was also named by the acronyms (Living room, Image, Sound, Art). It is a very cozy and quiet place whith a good... More

The atmosphere was good. Families with children were eating there, though it was a little expensive. Our meals were ok, but not outstanding. We didn't go back.

Nice for dinner with a large group. They sometimes have live music which is fun and also have good desserts.

We had lunch and dinner there and while the food was OK it wasn't special and cost more than other places in town. Service was just OK tending to a little slow. Menu was the usual South American choices.

For a bit more money than last night's meal at Mi Ovalito we got about 1/2 the quality, 1/3 less ambience and 1/10th the service.

I had the shrimp ceviche for appetizer and the grilled shrimp for my entree. Both were prepared perfectly and very flavorful. The space was attractive, too.

This is a Great restaurant. Would recommend going to the third floor with a nice overview of the city at the top. The desserts are wonderful and handmade, never frozen tasting. Enjoyed the sandwiches immensely for lunch. We ate here at least once a day during our stay in otavalo. Highly recommend it. Only downside, is one has to wait... More

We ate here on a previous trip to Otavalo and were eager to return. Once again it was a great experience. For a very reasonable price we had a lovely late afternoon lunch/dinner. Our meals included an appetizer, soup, main course and dessert. The roasted corn and beans were a nice snack to nibble on while we sipped a frosty... More
