Restaurant is close to my new apartment so I decided to stop by to check it out. Hardly anyone there, so we sat where we wanted and were served quickly. Big menu so it took some study to figure out what was good for a Wednesday night meal. Some dishes were quite expensive, but we found some moderately priced items... More

In a nice but a bit formal atmosphere you can enjoy all kinds of seafood, above all the different preparations of crab. Service is excellent, but the waitors are very strict and formal. No smiles or laughs. Perhaps a habit of the Ecuadorian restaurant personnel. We tried fish and crab. Taste was all right, but noting special. We had tuna... More

I went with a group of about 15 people. What we ordered for us was a wide variety of different seafood specialties. Here is the catch. Personally I don't really care for any type seafood, but not wanting to be difficult, or a pain in the you know what I agreed to eat whatever. To my surprise everything was actually... More

This is a review of the Guayaquil restaurant. The decor is not fancy but the food is fabulous. The piqueo is a must - meant for 4 people but two 'hungry' souls can manage. If you like soup (broth), dive into a 'cazuela' which is delicious beyond description. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The restaurant is open only... More

Had to go two times to have a taste of all the amazing sauces they serve the crabs in. The Best one is the Criolla, because the crabs are much bigger. But the garlic sauce and coconut sauces are incredible too. Also its a fun way to eat crabs with hammer and clamps. For dessert be sure to order the... More

this should be one of the bests, with crabs as the star in the menu. actually, the only "stary" part is the price - too high! the dishes were between regular to bad. i wont be back...

We really enjoyed the variety of tasteful dishes. La corvina diabolo is a must try. Also the decoration is nice and topic related. A nice and very good place to go.

Worst experience in Ecuador. Highly recommended, and we love crab. So we enjoyed our cocktails and then ordered, only to be told "no crab." It was early, so they didn't run out. My wife settled for steak, I ordered grilled fish. Both our dishes were over-cooked. When it was time to leave, the restaurant insisted we write in an extra... More

Visited there with my Aunt and family and I tell you the food was great but the service was amazing. Granted we were the only ones in the place but nevertheless amazing atmosphere. The seafood was good and the octopus was amazing to say the least. I am not a crab eater but heard it is amazing. Well recommended

We were invited to this restaurant by good friends and it was a memorable experience. We started with stuffed crabshells, some with sweet stuffing and others with cheesy stuffing, both of which were delightful. We then ordered several crabs seasoned differently. Each type of spice properly accentuated the flavor of the crabs and were exquisite. A memorable experience! Kathy and... More
