Everything is ridiculously expensive in Goma because of the military presence; while Salt and Pepper is more pricey than you might find in neighboring countries, it's a good value for the DRC, and the food is phenomenal. Great service, cold beer, and big portions - I loved it.

This place is truly one of the few places in Goma that serve Indian food.. So you don't have much options left :-), it's near the UN hospital in Goma.. Easily accessible as there is hardly any traffic in Goma.. :-) , ambience is so so but I would like to recommend take home option which is best...

To be honest was surprised with the quality of the food served, I mean in Goma your expectations are not that high but here the service was ok even if a bit slow at times and the food was nice. Be careful if you say a little hot though as for their "little" hot is very hot to my standards... More

The inside of the restaurant inside is very dark and dingy, but once seated the food is a good choice and not bad for being in the DRC. The service is a bit slow as well. Overall the food is average with some dishes, such as the spinach is excellent. You basically are paying the right price for this type... More

Yes, Salt and Pepper is good Indian food...for Goma. I enjoyed the curries and naan but they left a bit to be desired. The environment is not that great so I would recommend it as a takeout option. Beware, one of the vegetarians in our group commented that he felt as if his curry just had the meat fished out... More

This place has great Indian curries so don't let the decor fool you! It looks pretty ordinary to be fair as you walk in and the copies of the menu are very grubby. But once you get beyond that you can get a good cold beer to wash down their awesome curries and naan.
