Croatian food in the centre of Samobor. We went for lunch here and we weren't disappointed. The service was professional by a nice lady. We had soup for starter, which was nothing special, but our main dishes surprised us. We tried the Goulash with the local meat and a fish from a river, both of our plates were flavourful and delicious! All had really pleasant taste especially the olive oil. The prices are really reasonable. Give it a try if you're around! Recommended.

Cosy restaurant with traditional cuisine, kind staff, right in the centre of Samobor

Wholesome traditional Croatian food, generous portions. Good service. Our waiter was very polite and helpful. In four we ordered : Grilled locally caught trout with grilled vegetables, hearty pork chops, traditionally made garlic sausages, delicious grated potatoes and sauerkraut (which was, unfortunately, too salty) . Surprisingly good wine. After Restaurant Gabrek 1929, this restaurant is also known for its palatschinke, and the variety is endless. One could have these crêpes as a savory dish , but we chose the desert pancakes, and they were delicious and plentiful. We particularly liked the walnut and cinnamon pancakes. We recommend eating here. The food is real and fresh, nothing pre-pepared, and they offer good value for cost.

Delicious food and much more!

While visiting Samobor, we went to Samoborska klet for a bite and we were delighted! The restaurant looks amazing, ambient is cosy and the waiters are friendly and nice. Food is amazing and portions are more than enough for one person. I absolutely recommend this fine restaurant!

We were here with friends. Found the place via TripAdvisor. Very nice place and tasty. Pleasant, polite and friendly staff. Good volue for the money. Definitely recommended.

It was a late lunch,we sat outside in the "patio". The food was a surprise - the trout as well as the Zagreb dish ( Zagrebacki odrezak ) . We enjoyed the calm and cosy atmosphere and the friendly service .

Inside or out the food is great

I decided to have the steak and it could have been better cooked. Where as my partner though should would go light with a salad which turned out to be huge. Very friendly and couldnt do enough to help.

If you are looking for a wonderful, warm and beautiful place with great and kind staff and of course the most delicious food, you should visit this place! We had three different meals, all three very tasty! We didn't wait long for our food, and I think that is very important. Also, very important information for all of you who like to travel with your dog, like we do, it is a tottaly pet friendly place!!! We will return, for sure! 😊👍🧡

Perfect sausages

For lunch, we had garlic sausages, grated potatoes and sauerkraut. The dish was very tasty, and a huge portion. Samobor is known for garlic sausages and this one was very tasty, we were very pleased to try them here. The waiter was very kind, we didn't wait too long for the service. One of the few restaurants in Samobor that works on Mondays!

We arrived at lunchtime, when it was the biggest crowd, and relatively quickly the waiter asked us how many people we needed a table for. The food was delicious, the service a little slower due to the crowd. The terrace is a much better choice if the weather is nice, as it is open, airy, and sheltered from view from the street. The food choice is very good with the local specialties. I would definitely recommend homemade gnocchi as a side dish.

I have been here before, so I should have known. Last time it was nothing special, but this time it was downright bad. The waiter was surly, throwing things down on the table, and the food, when it arrived, was inedible. We ate most of the venison paprikash, but I just left my garlic sausage uneaten. The cover charge of 15 kuna each just added insult to injury.

Samoborska Klet is an attractive restaurant, located in the centre of Samobor. The venison stew with homemade gnocchi was delicious (and big enough to satisfy the hungriest diner!). A good choice for anyone who wants to enjoy local food on a day trip from Zagreb.

Right in the centre of the city, good menu selection from roasted weal, pork & lamb, to stew from game meat. Went with my family for lunch, waiter was very pleasant, speaks good English & took time to explain the menu.
