Tasty food and friendly atmosphere

We had an early lunch, veal and potatoes. It was very tasty, fresh and large portions. For me the salat was tasty and my husband thought it was too sour. It is not easy nowadays during the corona to let people arrange their own salads. We visited the cave just accross the street. We had a great time and will definitely return soon.

Very nice location and good quality food

Went here for a late business lunch. It is a traditional restaurant for the region with a modern iutlook, quite nice actually. The service was very good, and we had some nice Radovan Malvazija in terms of wine (they have a good selection). For appetizers we had some nice selection of cured meats with fresh cheese and cream which was great. We than had some great mushroom soup which is famous in the region. Afterwards we finished with some good duck. All together a very nice place to visit.

Maybe the best place I have ever been and I have been around

If you want to feel at home and enjoy excelentfood this is a right place for you. i go often, but just organized two gatherings for my business and family friends and just let owner to choose what to serve. And everybody were so satisfied that were talking about that for days. Going to this restaurant will be always a good choice.

Beef soup very untesty, with added croatian Vegeta, which most chefs not used long time. Not recommended. Veal preheated, possibly 2-3 times. Not recommended. Served water from bottle, even not ordered. Service not professionaly. Generally, not recomended.

Perfect food, service, nature, every time! Excellent selection of meat and fish, homemade appetizers and an even better selection of wine stored in a nearby natural cave - which is available for touring :)

Hearthwarm food and atmosphere

Must reserve for weekends, othervise for you it will be just nice a trip for sightseeing. There is a parking lot on site.Food and atmosphere are great. Portions are generous, proper local food. Owner run tables as well so you have info first hand of what arrived minutes ago. Total good feeling all around. Recommend

a great family lunch

My dad celebrated his birthday. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a beautifully decorated table. Food was excellent, wine and champagne selected. We ate great local dishes, all fresh and very tasty. I look forward to our next visit

Fancy restaurant

Very, very fancy restaurant with beautiful atmosphere, high-class stxle. But, food is surprisingly good, traditional meals very tastefull and home made. There is a cave near-by that is very interesting to visit. Note that so many people are aware of this high quality restaurant, that advance reservation is obligatory!

Everybody knows this place, long tradition of local gastronomy. Allbthe dishes very tasty. Prices a bit higher but aceptable for the level of service. Peacefull, no gsm signal. Parking. Recomedable.

Marvellous food & perfect interior

We had a quick lunch here, they almost rejected us without a reservation. But the owner was smart and invited us to stay, he found a place for us. Two great soups (pumpkins and mushrooms), duck with 'mlinci', veal with potatoes, ravioli with cheese and green sauce, every dish was really excellent. Especially the duck and the veal, one of the best that we had in north Croatia. Young waiters must have more patience with potential customers, it's not fair to reject people directly on the doors, without any attempt to find a place in a big restaurant. The boss saved them this time, but I hope they will be much smarter in the future... But because of extra quality food, we'll come back here.

Unprofessional guest relationship - didn't stay to taste the food

Couple of years ago this was a nice little cozy domestic restaurant. Today, however, it's more for celebrities. If you want to be treated properly, you have to be a Hollywood star or professional footballer. Irritated by a waiter who didn't show any respect we didn't stay long enough to taste the food. It's a pity - the place looks nice and clean and it's situated in fine environment. But nice first touch was completely ruined by horrible staff approach. At the end we had a quick drink, took a short walk around and went to the other place nearby. There are plenty of other restaurants worth visiting - you should skip this one.

Visited today after reserving seat outside the day before for lunch. After arrival semi polite waiter looked in confusion if he should seat us at the table that we had reserved. Owner melted to some local monkey who arrived at the same time with some bimbo’s and gave them our table. We were sent inside and decided that though food may be good being treated in this way is not a place deserving out couple of 100 eur. Go elsewhere if you wanted to be treated with professional courtesy.
