Pleasant restaurant, italian food and other varied menus, rapid and friendly service; very good house-wine, good reasonable price.

I went there in October with a friend and it was very pleasant. The food was good, the price reasonable and service was excellent. My friend asked for something that was not on the menu (spaghetti alle vongole) and she got it and was very happy.

Looked quirky inside, waitress was lovely other staff bit grumpy and unwelcoming, lady on the till & an older lady were sitting eating & glaring at anyone that came in. Only good thing was the wine & soup, the fish was disgusting & laid on top of what can only be described as shoe leather blocks taste was disgusting, other... More

My husband and I ate here 3 of 5 nights while in Rovijn last week. Our waiter (he was ours for all 3 nights:) was fabulous and the food was excellent. The first night we had mixed clams and mussels which were very good. The second night we had a perfectly cooked filet with frites. The last night we shared... More

We came in here as 4, but 3 of us ate. We had truffle gnochi, pasta with tomato sauce and pancakes with walnuts. Wife said that tomato pasta was tasty and my truffles gnochi were one of the best ones I ever had. Pancakes were not superb but more tasty than not. One of the most important things for me... More

Buzzing place to eat whether that be in the afternoon or in the evening. Always busy so booking is advisable particulary in the busy summer months. Seafood is a speciality and the mussels tasted of the sea in a lovely garlic and wine sauce. The bread basket isn't free cost about 20p, fills you up so beware. Staff very attentive... More

We have been here couple of times in the last months. The service was great and fast. The fish was delicious but if you are here in autumn we really recommend the fried Istarski squid.

How did this place get recommended by any guidebooks? Did they give out a free lunch? Even that wouldnt have changed what i have to report. The atmosphere was that of any bus station café. The waiter wouldnt have raised eyebrows in Poohey McPlop's Latrine Cleaning Gang. All in all the dishes served would have sailed through the Great British... More

Had two evening meals and one lunch during our stay in Rovinj. First night the place was buzzing, even so the staff managed to find a place for us. Service was very good and the food is above what you get down on the harbour side. No complaints, but portion sizes are on the large side. Inside is a must... More
