We ordered typical istrian dish: fuži (type of pasta) and it was horrible, almost cold and very pricy for the quality you get.

We sat at the raised area just outside the restaurant. We were greeted and served immediately by the waitress. We had only stopped for tea and coffee but this was no problem. The waitress soon returned with a nice coffee and a nice mug of English tea, all for a very reasonable 24Kuna.

A litre of wine, Istria goulash, embolo and local sausage, 2 mixed salads and a beer for £6 a head cannot be faulted. we sat on the terrace and were served well in all respects: ambience, hospitality and home cooking at its best.

Went there to grab dinner after a whole day of cycling on Parenzana...service was good although could have been a bit faster. Prices are pretty good, nothing costs too much and wine from tap is quite cheap. Ate beefsteak and ramsteak which were quite yummy...tomato soup was excellent! Fries and salad were ok nothing special...all together a very good place... More

We only visited for a drink mid morning. The service was extremely slow - there was only one waitress to serve all the tables. Had to go and pay at the bar - most people were doing this.

The other reviews I've read here seem a bit underwhelming when compared to the experience my wife and I had during the jazz festival in July. The main aspects of this place are the fact that it serves good quality unpretentious local food prepared by a couple of women ( I believe) and its open air location in the centre... More
