We stayed at the Amandayan, but the food was much better at LaMu's. Curry chicken, and beef with black pepper sauce were delicious. Add a bottle of wine for $30 or less, and it makes for a very fun evening.

located downtown but peaceful, offering typical tibetan food at reasonable pricess. Warm wood atmosphere, generally not crowdy even during the peak seasons.

We came here for lunch after a long walk in the black dragon park and a climb up the elephant mountain. The place had a nice atmosphere, with a good view over the old town. The staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant was packed with tourists but we knew this would be the case based on the reviews. We... More

Yummy Tibetan restaurant in Lijiang with English menu. Located in a lovely building. Yak meat dumplings hit the spot for me. Tasty milkshakes and stiff cocktails are also available.

I can't comment on their western foods, but the Tibetan cuisine was among the best I've had. The noodles and dumplings hit the spot.

While it's always best to live like the locals and sample all of the food and culture of the native area, once in a while, a brief return to the more familiar is a welcome respite. If you are foolhardy enough to spend an evening in the tourist trap of Old Town Lijiang, this restaurant offers a terrific blend of... More

Lijiang can be straight up exhausting with its crowds and repetitive souvenir shops. That is why this restaurant is such a welcome respite with a quiet and warm atmosphere with terrific Tibetan food. Strongly recommended.

The location is very central, easy to find and has a cozy feel about it. You can borrow board games and books so it would be great for a dinner with friends. WiFi is free and fast. Service is nothing special...Menue is English but I don't know how good the staff is in speaking it. We ordered naxi burger and... More

I just sat here a whole afternoon reading a book with a cup of tea and they kept refilling. That was so nice and the tea was very good (and cheap as well 15 kuai I believe). I had a great dinner too, beef with onions and it was SO nice. Very simple but very good seasoning. Staff is very... More
