After a trip to the beach, my wife and I had eaten nothing but seafood and we were ready for a good American, greasy burger. I had never been to Milo's. BUT WOW, I loved the burger, I loved the fries, I loved the pie, I loved the sweet tea. It was a home run from us and I would... More

I was exited to try Milos to avoid stopping at mega chain fast food restaurants. However, it was not good. We ordered two double cheese burgers, fries, and a peach pie. The burgers were dry and chewy. The sauce, which looked like BBQ, tasted like bad lunchroom meatloaf. The fries, albeit hot, were mediocre frozen crinkle fries. The fried pies... More

I'm not a negative person. I had high hopes. I love a good story. This is a negative review. Hopes dashed. Not a good story. I would not normally discuss fast food places but I feel I must. Client suggested we walk across the street and grab lunch at Milos. An institution. Sure. I love a local good burger place.... More

This restaurant was close to my hotel during a trip to Birmingham so I stopped in for lunch one day, and I was a bit disappointed. I had read the backstory online about the "secret sauce" so I had to try it out. Overall, the sauce seems to be something you love or hate, for me- it wasn't my taste.... More

Im staying at the Marriott across the street and read the reviews. Normally a 3.5 rating on Trip advisors means it's okay to visit. Well, I'm not normally over critical but I feel the need to here. I had the double cheese with bacon and fries. After walking the UAB med center all day I was hungry. I got my... More

I have eaten at Milo's for over 20 years. The menu has grown considerably from the early days of just burgers. I will say that they are some of the cleanest, most consistent and friendly restaurants you will find. It is still considered fast food for sure but it will make you wonder why all the others cannot seem to... More

Basic burgers, if you want a quick fix it's not bad and not too expensive. Had the cheeseburger and it has onions and pickles and a BBQ sauce. Hit the spot when I needed it.

There was a day when Milos was considered a special fast food place... but it is not anything special now and for the past 3 years... slow and indifferent.... Hardees has a much better Hamburger and service than Milos....

I was expecting more than bbq style sauce, a few onion pieces and a pickle slice on a thin small burger for the price. Nothing to write home about except if you want to tell mom not to come. Fries were good but so are the ones from McDonald's. This place is not worth a first, much less a second... More

Love the new sauces. ALL of the food is good. You really cant get anything bad. My favorite will always be a double cheesburger combo with fries. MEGA sized.
