Extended dining hours start earlier than my first several visits. Dining available outdoors near the pool or indoors. Good variety on the menu with options for all diets.

it was great discovery during the tour to Colchagua valley and short visit to Santacruz town. Restaurant offers buffet lunch, which is diverse and with wide variety to choose from. Salad bar, grill station and also enpanadas and sure thing nice stand of desserts. sure thing, you need to ask a wine, while you are withing the valley of vineyards.

People go here because all the guide books tell them to. The food is subpar because it doesn't need to be good in order to get people in the door. Fish was over cooked and over sauced. Food was bland. The only good part was the service.

You have to see the market! Fish stalls are wonderful and evocative. We ate in a tiny local cafe just beside one of the stalls and had fresh seafood at ridiculously low prices. We then went back and were hustled into this place - paid twice as much and the food was not as good.

We weren't that hungry, so I just had Empanadas and my my wife had a ceviche. Both were just average. The service was good and the waiter spoke good English.

Pretty good for a hotel restaurant. My short ribs were tender and delicious. My wife said her salad was the best in a long time. I recommend it.

We only had dinner there. It was a Sunday eve and nothing open in Santa Cruz. The major hotel is located at the central square of a town that otherwise has nothing to offer, but the hotel looked very nice. Anyway, we loved the restaurant with the marvellous Art déco glass ceiling nearby. The food and the wine were expensive... More

With much anticipation we made reservations to eat dinner at Los Varietales which is the restaurant in the Santa Cruz hotel. We were so disappointed with our experience. Upon arrival, nobody seemed to know anything about our reservation (which ultimately was in the reservation book.) Our server was extremely tentative and awkwardly hovered around us when he wasn't missing in... More

Fine food, in a nice colonial environment! A bit expensive though, but we enjoyed our meals. Wine was good and well recommended, which made it a nice dinner anyway...
