The problem with finding a place like Kinyei is you want to eat/drink here every day... which we did. Super nice wait staff as well. Tiny place, though I think they have an upstairs, where we never went. Can't recommend this cafe more.

I've lived in cambodia for a few years but on my 1st trip to Battambang I knew I would visit Kinyei just for the coffee. Coffee is amazing but thankfully it didn't stop there. Friendly and chatty staff in a great chilled cafe with some great food too. The muesli is top class. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy the... More

This place is well hidden at the end of a small alley. They serve western/europeen food so don't expect going there to live a traditional Kmer experience. After 3 weeks backpacking in south east asia, this place gave us a nice peaceful rest. The food is really good and their tea/coffee on point. They are also supporting lots of good... More

I confess - I ended up at Kinyei almost every morning in Battambang for fruit salad, french toast, their egg benedicts... and would often stay for lunch too (the BLT was delicious). The staff are really lovely and often you'll see regulars time after time in there too - plus a clean and comfy space with an equally well maintained... More

We had toasties which were delicious. And the best coffee I've had in Cambodia! Not cheap, but an enjoyable place to have brekky. There's a nice chill area upstairs you could spend a morning relaxing reading the plentiful magazines on Cambodia and Battambang.
