From the outside it looks like any other Indian restaurant, but while you're walking up the stairs that are sprinkled with rose petals, you realise this is different. The atmosphere is very casual and at lunch it was fully booked with locals. When the food...More

Having waited in anticipation in the queue for 30 mins my palate was starting to wonder at what culinary experience lay ahead of me. After all, a queue full of people and tripadvisor can't be wrong! I was thoroughly disappointed with the food; mostly deep...More

This restaurant does not serve "classic" indian food but indian inspired vegetarian food (only slightly spicy). You can choose one of the daily combos (salad, main course, dessert and juice) for a fixed price.

...everytime I can, I lunch there when I'm in Sao Paulo, and if possible take a friend to show how wonderfully delicious vegetarian food can be. Although indian in its essence, there are some dishes from another cultures (i.e. lasagna with three cheeses, artichokes hearts...More

I visited this restaurant again and realized that if someone like Steve JObs had marketed this, it would have been the equivalent of elBulli in Spain. Between the rosemilk and caipirish (gingeer+honey+lime) drinks you get an array of flavors. Then you have the combo (simple...More

The restaurant is located up a flight of stairs off the street and its magnificent. The staff was very welcoming and English was spoken. The food was great and affordable. This is a must visit and I will be back for sure!

Consolação lies between the old historical centre of
the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by
the fancy Higienópolis neighbourhood, which makes it a
very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street
offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance
and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's
main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters
and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right
