An accidental find, we enjoyed excellent coffee and service. Our seat right on the street gave us an perfect place to watch the people of Sao Paulo walk by. Go inside and look at the enormous coffee roaster!

We had chosen four of the prestigious coffee with a lovely and delicious dessert made with queso (cheese) and Goiabada fruit. this dessert is original Brazilian and you've to try when you come across Santo Grao caffè or in Brazile. the location... It looks like a mix of Paris in the front and coffee factory in the back. Exclusively nice people mostly women. Prices are high but if you are a real amateur of rare coffees, this is the place. The rest is show off. But who cares?

Thanks for your feedback Chuck. Yes, the decor is paris meets factory, and we roast in the back, and our customer are (I would say Inclusively) nice people mostly women. I dont like "show off". I like real. Am taking your comments on board. We train about 15 baristas a week in the lab in the mezzanine, and used to... More

I have been here before and returned as the food is so good. We had two appetisers, although they brought the wrong appetiser and no alternative was offered and we still had to pay for the wrong appetiser. The main course was amazing of a duo of tartar and the sticky toffee pudding is second to none. Also the coffee... More

We go to Santo Grao two or three times a month. Here you can have good sandwiches, great coffee and outstanding smoothies. Prices are moderate, and because it's always crowded, service can be spotty' However, if you're not in a rush, this is a great place to stop.

Excelent caffee/bar. Pleasant ambience and super trendy! Tjey have a very friendly staff. Please try the carrot cake with your coffee. American style and completely different from the Brazilian one. Deliciously perfect! And the best of all: open untill 1 am. ;-)

Staying in Jardins

Neighbourhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighbourhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighbourhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
