We found the place walking by... it looked popular among locals and although we thought "French restaurant in Rio?" we gave it a chance... and totally loved it!! The duck rice was a total success... it's perfect for a romantic dinner or family Sunday/especial occasion!

Great restaurant, good ambiance, and the main thing is that the quality of the food is very reliable. I order my favorite dishes multiple times, and it is consistently good. I live a couple blocks from this restaurant.

A good night with VIP s Good wine menu, limited beer selection, the traditional French menu on the second page is my favorite, good deserts and reasonably priced, definitely a favorite in Rio

I ate a divine dish (ravioli with spinach), one of the most delicious pastas I've ever had. But there were nothing special about the service. Unfortunately, they lack guest service. But it is worth the visit.

We went for a quick eat on an Olympic night. Very few people (at 7:30!). Waitresses very confused and unfocused...no-one to meet us at the entrance. Food was bland (a tartine and a shank steak)...nothing much.More
