I had dinner there last night, my first night in Rio. This place is near by hotel that was the high point. I had chicken caesar salad and the pasta bolognese. It was just ok, I have had better, much better in other international cities. My dining partner had oysters and steak, which was cut up with dense light colored... More

Casual eating opposite the beach. Thoroughly enjoyed the home-made pasta. Seemed popular with Brazilians and other nationalities

My friend and I spent a week in Rio to experience the craziness of Carnaval. Last night we were craving for some good Italian food and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is right in front of the beach of Copacabana, the service was really god and the pizzas were almost as good as the last one I had in... More

No decent Italian restaurant would ever serve pasta without bread and even less with old bread, which is what I got when I asked for it. The gnocchis with tomato sauce and basil is just awful, and the only thing that you'll find amusing in this place is the violin playing some Italian tunes to the tables that are willing... More

So I have reviewed this restaurant before but we were just in Rio again for 4 days for New Year celebration. I must have eaten in this restaurant 3 out of 4 nights and a few lunches. Never disappoints and we spent New Years eve here which was a great choice. Champagne flowing, lobster, live music, just a fun evening... More

Italian food theme, Brazilian food, mixed drinks from bar good, Italian food very good, seafood very good, recommended by Copacabana Beach locals, prices for a bar, restaurant on the beachfront not tied to a hotel were reasonable.

Staying in Copacabana

Neighbourhood Profile
Copacabana
The rowdy Copacabana is one of the most traditional and old areas from Rio de Janeiro. This neighbourhood is a blend of Brazilian soul - crowded, rowdy and traditional. This neighbourhood has a bit of everything: bars with music, pubs, street fairs, chaotic streets, and many shops. All these things and more live side-by-side. There are options for all price points and tastes. However, the most powerful draw in Copacabana is still the fantastic view of the coast and the incredible beaches.
