Our experience at Pantanal Grill

I went to Bonito on vacation with my husband and Pantanal Grill was our favorite place...we ended up going back several times!! The service from the waiters (Beto, Pâmela and Alexandre) was exceptional and we also really liked the attention provided by the place manager (Carmem). The meals are very well prepared and tasty, the beer is always very cold and the juices are delicious. On the day of our return, as we would have little time before the flight to have lunch, we chose the lunch menu the day before and, when we arrived at the restaurant, there was a table reserved in our name and the food was served punctually... anyway, we only had compliments for the restaurant. We came for lunch and were kindly served by Alexandre. We ordered the grilled piraputanga, which comes whole, but without thorns or bones, stuffed with plantain farofa and accompanied by white rice and pirão. The food here is subpar. I had the Pintado ao urucum 1 pessoa which was decent. The vegetarian stew was flavorless. My son had the spaghetti carbonera which he thought was decent. The steaks unfortunately were all over cooked despite ordering medium rare (not pink at all). It was convenient for our group of 8 as there were not a lot of places open for late lunch.

Excellent service, plentiful food and fair prices. We were served by the waiter Alexandre and he was very polite and good at chatting. We ordered a grilled piraputanga for one person and it was enough for two to eat. A delight. R$89.90. My fiancé doesn't eat fish and ordered a parmigiana, which was also very well served.
