We were staying in Appleton for an event, and we discovered the Stone Cellar Brewpub. We were looking for a place to have dinner. We rarely drink beer, but we decided to try the food. We started with the house wine, which they seemed to be proud of. We chose the chardonnay and found it to be quite good. Our... More

Searched brewpubs and this was 1st on list. Happened to be restaurant week so food was a 'bargain' - good beers too. Appetizers of hummus & sweet potato fries, mains were a pretty tasty mac/cheese with andoille & bacon or a turkey avocado sandwich. Desserts were a nice raspberry sorbet or a slice of cheesecake - - we liked it... More

We adore Stone Cellar. The food is fantastic. The patio is adorable....but this summer the patio staff/ management needs to be addressed. We visit regularly (usually weekly) and we have frequently had visits where our food is delivered and no one checks back at all. This seems to be common since we hear other tables being apologized to and/ or... More

We came in for a lazy day lunch and bottle of wine. The building is really cool and the wait staff did a great job. The food was great and we look forward to coming back more often. Price of food and wine were very reasonable.

Outstanding food.... a little pricy but not terrible. Staff was excellent! Our waitress Amy... sorry if I spelled that wrong... was amazing. Hard worker and an excellent server. Excellent representative for the business. I did not have pizza but I heard numerous conversations around our table about how good it was. Place was swamped for a Monday evening. I will... More

My family has eaten here several times and have had fabulous meals and service every time. Beer is made there and the Scottish ale is my favorite. I also love the six grain. Try the sampler so you can taste it all!!! Pizza is beyond fabulous! Various things my family and I love - organic soup and salad bar everyday... More

Went here last night for dinner and was shocked this was in Appleton. Certainly not a bad thing at all, just didn't expect it. Down in the cellar of a building that was an old mill I believe. Walls were all stone and looked very old. Definately had atmosphere! Great ambiance. Packed!!!! But it was huge and got table right... More

From the first walk into the door and down to our seats, I felt we just found our favorite spot for a date night. The building is old stone and brick, dark but perfectly lighted and with a wonderful ambiance. We tried four of the craft brews and we're delighted in the flavors. My favorite was the Scottish Ale. For... More
