First visit for lunch. I was a bit disappointed after seeing it was rated 3 in Appleton. Ordered the Sausage plate. Two pieces of sausage served over kraut with Spatzle on the side. Best part of the German dish was the salad. Sorry to say. Two pieces of sausage, one smoked and one fresh. Smoked one was heated to dry...the... More

Returned for a second time in December. Food was excellent whether you order German, my husbands favorite, or any other item from a large selection on the menu. Servers were efficient. Bartenders were efficient. The owner is welcoming and offers a friendly greeting as he visits the tables. We have found this to be one of our favorite Supper Clubs.... More

Mark's East Side is one of the classic, Wisconsin "supper club" restaurants. And like the others I have visited, Mark's is a time capsule. The bar and restaurant design were straight out of the 60's. We were seated in the main dining area, which is a separate room from the bar seating areas. We received friendly and attentive service throughout... More

This is an old fashioned supper club type restaurant. We had the fisherman's platter which contained a variety of seafood choices. I had Frog legs, which I haven't had for a while. Both dishes were very good. The service was good for a busy Friday night fish fry. We only had to wait for 35 minutes to be seated after... More

Your greeted immediately with a warm smiling person. You have a great Old Fashion at the bar while being mesmerized by the beautiful fish tank behind the bar. (they do muddle their old fashions too) Bonus!!! Order anything, anything, It will be wonderful. I love the hot bacon dressing, the German food is the best around. I am a beef... More

It's always nice to find a restaurant with gluten free options! Marks has a dedicated fryer for gluten free. I ordered everything deep fried for dinner because I don't ever order deep fried anything!! I had onion rings, shrimp and for dessert, a meringue torte! Yum! It was great! They have several gluten free options, not all fried! Everything I've... More

The German style food is very good, but there are many other options. We were able to sample/share several appetizers. We wee also able to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed.

For years this was a personal favorite. Since a Major remodeling They have reduced portions & services, raised prices and quality. Some local favorites retained the old quality, like German Scotch Eggs, however the healthy small portion grilled items are gone.To make things worse the dinning room after 7:30 is taken over by the loud, obnoxious, boorish happy hour crowd,...
