My wife and I went there for a dinner because we were recommended this restaurant by a friend. The Christmas illumination outside was impressive. Inside, the atmosphere is elegant with its particular decoration style.. We were warmly welcomed by the waiters, shown to our reserved table and given our menus. The menu focuses on simple, but with great quality. It's not cheap, but highly recommended.

They don’t have an English menu but there was a very helpful member of staff that spoke English.
The food, drinks and service were all top notch. Yes it isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for. If you want a lovely mean then go here.
Don’t miss the langoustines. Perfectly cooked and beautifully presented.

We booked by the First Table a table for 2 at 19:30 on a Tuesday, we arrived at 19:40 and the restaurant was empty and with only one waiter in the lounge. The bar was without anyone and had no band or musician, besides the waiter could not inform if there would be someone playing. We ordered an entry of fillet cubes to the Roquefort sauce and served with bread chips that were with a strong taste of “guarded”, the fillet was soft but the sauce was very diluted and liquid. We also ordered a Chilean white wine for 129 reais, which, to our surprise, did not have a slurry, but a threaded tam. The wine was placed in a bucket positioned on a baby chair. The waiter served the wine right with the full glass and grabbed the glass leaving hand marks. For the main ordered a salmon filled with brie cheese and accompanied by fettuccine to Sicilian lemon sauce. The salmon filling turned out a Catupiry, without the slightest taste of brie, as well as the lemon sauce that there was no taste, not even scratches of the same. My companion ordered the lagoon tower with Sicilian lemon risotto, which, like fettuccine, was without lemon taste. The lobster was past, hard, with burned and bitter parts. In the end, we refused the dessert and took the wine home. The account gave 320 reais with the 50% discount on the dishes of the First Table.

Outstanding contemporary food in a vintage style. Everything is well planned and the menu sufficiently diverse to suit different styles, from great seafood with local ingredients to pinky duck a la french cuisine.

It is old house with fine decor and a wonderful cuisine with local ingredients, particularly but not only seafood. According to the traditional decoration, the music is old and classic, allowing intimate conversations.

Service wasn't terrible because staff was really nice. Most of the time, they didn't seem to know what they were doing. At all...
Food was below average and way overpriced. We finished the main course and gave up on ordering dessert.

I don't like to play favorite, specially when it regards restaurants. But Moranga is incredible! I suggest you to try the fish menu.
The price is the only con. It's really expensive. A couple, drinking wine, will cost at least u$ 200.

Great atmosphere and service at fair prices. Try the beef jerk (Sertanejo) or shrimp (Azul do Mar) "crepe" and, for dessert, Sorpresa Caravaggio. Pizzas are also nice...
