My friend and I stayed 1 month at Adela's place, and had a great time! Every morning she served a delicious breakfast for us, with fresh fruit salad, bread, juice and good coffee. She was always ready to help, and took care of us like a mother. We also tried some of her dishes for dinner, and it was really... More

I was up to some healthy breakfast and she was really surprising me. The variety of the musli breakfast was refreshing and so delicious. They building a big bridge at the moment connecting Rurrenabaque and Buenaventura, so they closed the Comercio Street wich is going to the Lobo Hotel/ Hostel (wich is in my opinion the best stay in Rurre... A nice restaurant, a couple of blocks outside the city centre. The atmosphere and the food are both great, as is the service. A bit on the expensive side for Bolivia.

Casa de Campo is outstanding within Rurrenebaque. The restaurant is located immediately opposite Hostel Lobo. The food is healthy, fresh and offers great variety. Vegans and vegetarians will enjoy this restaurant. The fish and the meat options are excellent. Quiet location, alfresco dining with a very friendly atmosphere.

This place is a bit tough to find but, I'm so glad we didn't give up. The fish we ordered melted in our mouths, cooked and marinated to perfection. The bread that came with was the best I've had in ages. It was like I sat down to a lovely home cooked meal. The restaurant has a beautiful ambience. On... More

My friends and I were working at a local clinic in RBQ and lived there for a month without a kitchen, so we ate out... a lot. We found Casa de Campo to be the best for "healthier" food while eating out. We got to know the owner and she's truly a gem. The service can be slow, like a... More

Casa de campo is a block away from the plaza and so a little out of the way but worth the walk. It is in a peaceful location, good, fresh food and a friendly welcome.

We visited Casa de Campo for a late brunch, the boys ordered fish while I had the American breakfast. We waited over an hour for our drinks to come out and another half an hour before we got any food! The food that came was ok but not worth the wait considering we were the only people in the restaurant.
