Well worth the wait. The noodles, duck soup and tempura were great. The best feed iv had since being in Japan. We were a family of 5 visiting from australia . There was a small wait but well worth it. The buckwheat beer was good...More

Must have is the Maetake Tempura Soba if you don’t mind the fried food. You need to come early to order any tempura dishes as the best tempura can be had when the cooking oil is fresh. Buckwheat Soba is home made and very high...More

People were waiting in line but it wasn't too bad. After waiting about 15 minutes outside, we were guided into the restaurant and waited more looking at the menu. The staff comes to get orders while you wait inside, so we were served right away...More

This is so far my best duck broth soba. Rich duck broth and soba is done just right. Service is average, I guess the place is really busy. Ordered the tempura don as well, but no 'wow' factor. I personally think it is a little...More

The Q in front of me is only 6-7 person but waited around 50mins to get in. Order a soba with tempura mushroom. Average food, not worth the time especially with this price. Had tried others much better than this.

I read good reviews about the place, so I stopped for lunch. Line was not too long, but still ended up waiting about 30 to 40 minutes for a table. I had a noodle and tempura set. Many reviewers said lot of good things about...More

BEST SOBA EVER. I have genuinely never tasted better soba. I had the duck broth whilst sharing the 2.5 serving soba with my husband and MAN was I full afterwards. But I still needed to drink down all that broth, so I would not regret...More

Probably the best noodle in town. Very close to central area. 2.5 person plate is a lot. Be ready to get fat :)

We went to this place after seeing some reviews (a lot in Japanese) and we were not disappointed. This turned out to be one of our better meals in Japan. The town was quaint and we were able to meander down the windy road to...More
