I've had breakfast and lunch at Gere-A-Deli, the good had been consistently good and they have a great selection. We have also enjoyed their pastries. This deli food is second to none.

We traveled through 37 states last year. This is worth the travels. They are not open for dinner (supper) so don't miss out. Get there early and stay a while. The whole crowd is fabulous. I love there sandwiches, salads, quiche, homemade to-die-for bread, soups. You may have to take your desserts home for later.

Excellent lunch place in downtown, scenic Anacortes. Everything is homemade and of highest quality. We've never eaten anything there we didn't like. Large seating area so even when busy, you can usually find a place to sit or share a table. Staff is friendly. Portions generous. I think it's the BEST BLT ever as there's lots of "B", my fav.... Stopped in with family and friends for lunch while waiting for our ferry to dock. Deli has a large and diverse selection of sandwiches, salads, and soups. We ordered our food at the counter, chose a large table, and awaited delivery. Food was served fairly quickly, in large portions, and was tasty. I had ordered a bowl of clam chowder... More

On our way out of town we had breakfast - small but good menu. I had the quiche of the day - very fresh. Not a huge menu so know that if you go - but nice service and everything tasty. Bet it is good for lunch - but we had to leave town!!

I've been here on multiple occasions. It seems to have a steady crowd but can become overwhelmingly busy. The fare consists mainly of sandwiches, soups, & desserts which are all great but for the price they end up being somewhat average. You might find it more enjoyable to get your food to go as well, on account of it being... More

Gere-a-Deli catered an event for me and Johanna and her staff made it so easy. Johanna worked with me to get the perfect menu and she and her staff handled the event perfectly from start to finish. They are truly professionals. Thank you guys for everything!

Very good. Had the East Coast - pastrami on marbled rye. Very filling. Very reasonable. Daughter had the artichoke quiche - also tasty. Did not try pastries although they looked great. Atmosphere is light and airy with large windows providing lots of light. Highly recommended.

Stopped for lunch before getting on the ferry to Friday Harbor and we randomly picked Gere-a Deli. We ordered the some-like-it-hot on a fresh 12" french roll and BBQ chicken sandwiches with cup of chowder. To finish it off we had some lemon bars and cinnomon rolls for later. The place is kind of neat with antique signs and memorabilia.... More

Absolutely THE best sandwich we have EVER had!!! Asked the local customer in front of us about her recommendation...she said they had made it thru the first page and everything was GREAT. Someone made the mistake of ordering a WHOLE sandwich and and had to admit that he didn't think he could eat it all!! I believe it was even... More
