King Street, especially near the water, is a magnet for tourists, and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. The Warehouse strives, I think, for a more traditional upscale dining experience, and for the most part, it works. The decor is a little...More

The salmon with asparagus is some of the best food I've ever eaten. We had two weeks in the area and ate at a lot of restaurants, but I will say that the Warehouse was one of the best. The view from outside is nice,...More

We stopped in here because of the reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. I had the pecan encrusted chicken which was amazing, the vegetables were delicious. My husband had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed.

Sunday brunch was great- the service was attentive and food was delicious. Crab eggs Benedict, seafood omelette and crab cakes were the table favorites. The she-crab soup and calamari were great starters. Champagne with the brunch entrees was a nice surprise. The Bloody Mary's were...More

Contrary to it's name, the Warehouse is not a warehouse (although the building was a long time ago) and is a lovely period location for a fine dinner. We have the Carb Cakes (a specially) and both my wife and I loved them. I also...More

We had dinner here our first evening in Alexandria. It was so delicious that we almost went back for a second dinner but thought that might be weird. We wish we had! The crab cakes I ordered were the best I've ever tasted. My husband...More

Can get very crowded with locals at lunch time, but should be alright.

Is there valet parking? Do you have a round table for a group of 8? Or a private area for a small group?

Not sure about valet parking, but there are several public parking garages in the area. Also, the upper floor seems perfect for a private event.

Is there a dress code. Is it accessible for someone using a walker.

No dress code. I was surprised at how many people were casually dressed. Definitely ask for the lower level.

Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, the Warehouse is one of the area's most popular restaurants specializing in prime aged steaks and fresh seafood. The superb food is served in a casual but elegant atmosphere that features caricatures of the local gentry on the walls of the historic building. Enjoy their Steak "Pontchartrain" or their famous all-lump crab cakes. Don't miss their very popular Sunday brunch. Enjoy a drink at their antique mahogany bar.
