I love going here to find new cheeses to eat. Pricing is a bit high for cheese by the pound but they offer many cheese options. For the area you will pay about the same anywhere. Their lunch was good. I prefer going there just to buy cheese and gifts though.

I love Cheesetique, or, more specifically, I love the Del Ray area Cheesetique. I always bring my out-of-town guests that adore cheese and wine here. One friend, who regularly tours the wineries in Napa Valley, always wants Cheesetique on his visits. I am not able to drink wine myself, but I will take it as a good sign about their... More

We went to Cheesetique on the weekend. There was 4 of us we all ordered different items. The service was not the best which surprised me because they were not busy. We each tried at least one bite of the others order. I found the food bland and not worth the bother.

This restaurant provides a wonderful ambiance where you can enjoy cheese-centric plates of delicious food. Not worry if you're lactose intolerant, there are plenty of items that you can enjoy too. Select one of their excellent bottles or glasses of wine to pair with your meal. Lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong.

My weekday lunch was an outstanding, delicious bargain: $10 for a bowl of homemade tomato soup and an Italian-style grilled cheese sandwich. Service was fast, courteous, and attentive. Counter seating was comfortable. The restaurant and adjoining shop exuded a vibe was simultaneously upbeat, unpretentious, and serious. Lunch at Cheestique was a highlight of my two-week visit to the DC area.... More

The restaurant appeared to be busy even at 6.30pm but we were led past all of the people into a quiet, back dining area. We then found out that it was Wine Wednesday which is when he house wines are only $5 a glass. What a bargain and surprise. We had 3 small children with us of which 2 were... More

You really can’t go wrong with any of the cute little restaurants in Del Ray, but Cheestique always comes highly recommended, but this was my first visit. We were there for brunch, so we didn’t go with the standard grilled cheese and soup that are so good. Instead I opted for the fried chicken and cheese biscuit. The chicken had... More

My feelings on Cheesetique are oddly conflicted. I had what I considered an overly expensive dinner of cheese, bread and wine, yet was not hungry until well after lunch the next day. Yup, I filled up on a relatively small amount of cheese for well over 12 hours. I have no idea. Went here for a MeetUp and had 'dinner'... More

This is a local place for us and we dine here at least once a week. Very knowledgeable staff, great wine and one of the best selection of cheeses I have seen in the area. Hint- on Mondays you can build your own cheese board out of anything in the cheese case.
