Great food, great service, like eating a home cooked meal. Atmosphere is somewhat lively depending upon the crowd. Great drinks. This is a somewhat pricey establishment, but on par with other restaurants in Old Town. I found the cocktails to be reasonable.

A friend and I had brunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The menu is very diverse and it was hard to choose among the many enticing entrees. My friend had the mussels in a curry sauce which she enjoyed, and I had duck confit hash. Mine was served with two sunny side up eggs, lots of duck, and tiny round... More

Met out of town friends here and while we are "locals" we don't venture to Old Town Alexandria much. So relying on friends and reviews I made a reservation for Sunday night dinner. As luck would have it the Post reviewed the restaurant that weekend and did not give it a good overall score. So, we decided to keep our... More

We had dinner on a cool night so it was nice and warm, we sat in the booths. Its a nice historic setting and good quality food at reasonable prices. My husband has the lamb and I had the pork both were great.

A guest from overseas was visiting and we chose this place because of its connection to Alexandria's history. The setting was great and we enjoyed the vast skylight. The reception operation was odd -- we had to wait for a longish time while the hostess dealt with other guests. There should be more staff at the front reception. Our waiter,... More

Nice restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. Portion sizes are small but food was of good quality. Eating in the main dining room was nice especially with the all glass ceiling. I think this would be a nice place to go for drinks or meeting up with friends.

I really like this place. It has great history, cool decor, and it's one of the best restaurants in town. We went for happy hour food a few weeks ago, and I was blown away at the options at such reasonable prices. I recommend it!

Had the Firehouse Chili followed by an apple cobbler, both very good. Attentive service. Enjoyed the ambience of the covered couryard.
