We decided to give the melting pot a try! We had received gift cards for Christmas. Heather, our waiter was amazing. We had never been to melting pot before so we had lots of questions. Heather was very patient with us. The whole evening was such a fun experience for us! We went for the four course meal, which is... More

This was our first visit to The Melting Pot. We had no idea what they do or how food is served. The server wasn't very pleasant. She was a bit short with us when we continued asking questions. When we did get the cheese, we didn't think to ask if it was supposed to be warm. The cheese melted, but... More

We visited on a Friday night with a large group of teenagers celebrating a birthday. It is a fondue restaurant with lots of menu choices and everyone enjoyed themselves. We were a total of 10 and at the waiters suggestion ordered fewer than that number of 4 course servings. We were glad we did because we had food left over... More

Now we all know that the word fondue means mostly cheese. However after many years of avoiding fondues restaurants I was pleasantly surprised at The Melting Pot, here in Austin Texas. After so many attempts by my sister to bring me to this place I finally said yes and boy was I happy yes we did have cheese fondue for... More

my wife and i both got a random craving for fondue, being the only fondue place we know about in austin we made a reservation, when we showed up they told us they were swamped and it would be "another 30 min" wife wanted to leave as she was borderline 'hangry' (hungry/angry) i said lets stay and have a drink.... My daughter told us what a fabulous time she had at the Melting Pot, so we took our 14 year old granddaughter. We had a 45 minute wait, although we could see several empty tables and waitstaff standing around. No apologies or explanations. Having never been here, we required some explanation of the ordering process. Waiter seemed annoyed by granddaughter's... More

We visited at 9:15pm on Sunday, July 24 and upon arrival we waited for approximately 10 minutes with no acknowledgment. The hostess finally strolled over to the desk clicking her sandals across the floor carrying a styrofoam cup and appeared to be ready to take off for the night and very uninterested to seat more guests. Her rude attitude was... More

We just celebrated Father's Day a week early so we could beat the crowds. It had been some time since we were last here, but the meal was superb and our waitress was terrific. We had a wonderful 4 course meal - Cheese fondue, salad, entree (we chose chicken, andouie sausage, and beef sirloin in a burgundy wine sauce), and... More

On our most recent visit our 10 year old son decided he wanted to take my wife here for Mother's Day. What a great choice!! On Mother's Day they had a set menu, which was... More

I have visited this location on several occasions when in the Austin area. However, my experience during this visit was a complete nightmare. Went to dinner with my mother (in from Michigan) and my sister (visiting from Africa), so was supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Needless to say, it was anything but! The hostess that greeted us... More
