I have been to the Nutty Brown many times over the years and have always enjoyed the experience. The food is good, the beer is cold and the entertainment is great! We saw Lee Brice this last weekend. It is a much more intimate show than going to a big concert. Even though it was pretty packed it was not... More

Horrid new folks moved in the area-knowing the Nutty Brown was there and had concerts-then complained about the noise. It is a great place. Yummy chicken fried steak. Incredible music. Go before they finally close it down

Saw the Beatles vs. Stones concert here recently. Been to Nutty Brown many times and love this venue and location. No lines for drinks or bathrooms at this particular event which was awesome and getting into and out of the venue was easy. My only gripe (which is a BIG one) is their website said the event ended at 11:00... More

They cafe is closed which is a shame because I really liked their chicken fried steak. There's a trailer out front the is sometimes open, but I haven't tried it.

We attempted to go to one of our favorite joints to eat, but there was chain link fence and a giant roach coach trailer in stead of a front door to the eatery. What the heck happened here. A real disaster. Looks like the place is dead and gone which is too bad. The roach coach was closed and we... More

The food is good but the fun to be had here is what draws the crowds! They have concerts often. The only negative I have about this place is in the next year they moving far away north of Austin. they will continue to thrive in the new location because the management is committed to making it a great experience... Four of us went to enjoy a great show last night with Bob Schneider under a beautiful sky. We had bought a VIP table expecting to see the stage and the show. We were on row two on an elevated section, but a large tree limb obscured the view of three out of the four of us. We couldn't believe... More

The number of cars in to lot is always a good indicator of a restaurant--is they are locals, it is even better! This is a "local hangout" that serves good food at reasonable prices. The beers are cold and the wine decent-- not great. Service is always good here and it is very kid friendly. The salmon is an excellent... More
