Always like this place for seafood. Got gumbo and crab cakes and it was delicious. It's a little pricey but worth it

Pappadeaux's is one of my favorite restaurants and was glad to see this was close to a hotel that I was staying at for business. I as well as several of my colleagues went for lunch and, as always, they did not disappoint. I would always recommend Pappadeaux's if there is one nearby.
My family is vacationing in Austin this week. Since I have never eaten at a Pappadeaux my husband suggested we dine there after attending an early afternoon movie. The four of us, all adults, entered this restaurant at 3pm today. As you can imagine, the place was virtually empty at this time on a Tuesday afternoon. The man behind the... More
We had different types of entrées and everyone loved what they got. The appearance was stellar and the flavors were great. The sautéed crab fingers were tasty. The crisp French baguettes were delightful. I loved the lobster and shrimp salad with mango and cashews. My husband had blackened catfish. One of my guests enjoyed tilapia with Shrimp etouffée and another... More
This was a birthday celebration for my wife. Our three sons accompanied us! Every detail from the appearance of Chelsea, our sever to each dish brought to us was memorable in every aspect. The desserts were introduced to us by Chelsea on a large platter. She explained each creation in detail. The Praline Cheesecake and Creme Brulee were chosen. What... More
Travelers, a Great place Pappaduex near hotels. Just like other Pappaduex, this location is outstanding, both service and food quality!
Was in Austin on a business trip, wanted to have a cold beverage and watch the football game while enjoying dinner. The bar area at Pappadeux was perfect. Nice selection of microbeers on tap and excellent appetizers and main courses to choose from. Had a bowl of seafood gumbo which was excellent as well as crab and shrimp spring rolls,... More
My hotel was actually next to one that's opening, so I looked up reviews on it to see if it was good. I checked out the extensive menu and thought, alright, let's get some food from here. The first thing that caught my eye was the frog legs - definitely getting those. Next, I saw shrimp and grits - yup,... More
We have eaten at MANY restaurants, and are very particular when choosing our next visit. As we are from Louisiana, we decided to give Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen a try during our a vacation, since seafood is our native at home. Upon entry, we were greeted immediately, however the hostess had very little personality. He should not be the first impression... More
