What a sad, sad, sad, sad dump. If you have no taste, standards, or common sense, this is your place. We were there on a Friday and ordered lamb shanks, which they misspelled as "lamp shanks" on their website. They didn't have any, so we ordered a P10 lamb dish, a gyro plate, and a Greek salad. After long time,... More

We passed on the food truck falafels due to the heat (Texas in July) and settled for air conditioned comfort. The falafels were good, but not great. The tables are crowded into a small space in this busy restaurant. There didn't appear to be enough seating for everyone downstairs, although they might have had room in the upstairs dining area.

This is a great restaurant for Shawarma, Falafel and other oriental and vegetarian food..Their food tastes so good and their prices are very low for their great service and especially because they only serve "Halal" Beef and Chicken. I recommend this restaurant for people who want delicious and fast sandwiches with low prices other than burgers . I especially recommend... More

Met a friend for a quick lunch while in the area. It wasn't busy but UT students were away on Xmas leave. The best middle eastern food in the area by far. Fresh, quick service, flavorful, and inexpensive. Great combo deals. Large menu.

Was staying on 15th, concierge directed me towards 22nd onwards - walked up and found by chance. Menu on the wall above as you enter - Ordered the P12 combo and was told it would be 15 mins wait. Restaurant was pretty busy and an LCD on the wall passed the time - quite a few people sat on tables... More

I visited with place with friends who are from or had lived in the Middle East and we all enjoyed it! We tried chicken shawarma sandwiches, hummus, fries (with garlic mayo), and falafel. Everything was really delicious- the hummus especially so. They were offering complimentary sage tea (or cinnamon tea) which was good because it was really cold in there.... More

We tried this place because of its proximity to the UT campus and because while we were in town, we wanted to try unusual places to eat. It was a little overwhelming when we walked in because we didn't know what to order and the counter is right there when you walk in. We were in the way for a... More

This down to earth, small cafe had really good food. Just 1/2 block from the UT campus I was surprised it was not overflowing with people. I had a veggie platter and was surprised at how delicious the eggplant dish was - simmered for ages no doubt in robust spices. The honey dessert was a taste of heaven ...moist, sweet... More

My family and I have been eating here since Kismet opened in the '90s; we've always had excellent meals and good service. And although we're not from a Mediterranean country, we've eaten Mediterranean cuisine in many different places in the US and in European cities and towns. We may not be experts, but we do know when food is authentic... More
