We went for dinner Saturday evening using groupon voucher. The place was practically empty, only a few tables occupied. We ordered thai passion special noodle with chicken which was ok plenty of chicken pieces. The yello shrimp curry with potatoe and carrott was very liquidy. The egg rolls were good. I think the downtown Austin, the original one has better... More

First time to stop in using a Groupon discount. We stopped for a late dinner around 7:00PM and the place was relatively empty. Regardless the service was very slow considering how few people were here. I ordered the Pad Nee Mau with pork and my wife ordered another Pad dish with chicken and squid but I forgot the actual name... More

Went to Thai Passion for lunch and was reminded that I need to eat there more often. The dining area is clean and appealing. No odd aromas that so often accompany Asian restaurants. There are about a dozen lunch specials for $7.99 including iced tea. Also included is a nice salad bar, choice of three soups, spring rolls, fried rice... More

We had lunch here a few days ago - the salad bar was good. We ordered pud thai - it was soso... the sauce tasted good, but the chicken was very tough and not all that tasty. Sodas came in cans, and the water didn't taste very good.

Lunch is such a bargain! Wonderful stir-fry veggies with tofu or chicken for $8, with beautiful surroundings, good service and an open-air feeling without the wind and heat - good choices all around.

Pointing to the menu is the best way to order, and questions about the dish are out of the question as the sweet young Thai girl who waited on us spoke almost no English. When ordering verbally, she did not comprehend. When we asked twice for lemonade, she brought lemons. It is a very nice looking place in a kind... More

This was my second trip to Thai Passion and again I was not disappointed. We started with Shrimp in the Blanket and Rice Ball appetizers. Both were excellent. I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with Shrimp and my wife had the Pud Thai with Chicken. Everything was cooked perfectly and there was enough leftovers to take home. I'll go back... More

Very disappointing. We have been there for dinner several times and enjoyed their food. The food was plentiful, tasty and well cooked - very much like home cooking. We were excited when we heard they did a weekend brunch buffet and hurried to go and try it. We will not do it again! The appetizer selection of plates were many... More

Visited here with the family for dinner. We had a Firepot of Tom Yum soup. Soup was delicious. The firepot adds to the experience. Satay is good as well. The green curry was delicious. Though the tofu was a bit stale. My son had Phad Thai and he did not like it at all. I tasted it to see why.... More

We have always enjoyed Thai Passion and were so excited to have it move to North Austin. I went for lunch with two friends and while they both really enjoyed their meals my chicken had an odd taste - I picked all of it out and although I didn't complain it was clearly obvious there was a problem and something...
