I guess people are really limited in that part of town as to where to eat. The patio is nice, but nice scenery and good food never seem to be at the same place.

Maudie's is close by but that's not the reason we go there. The food is very good and the waitstaff is fun the views are terrific and all in all a great value

We enjoy sitting on their patio with margaritas. They have serious gluten free chips and salsa, granted chips & salsa are usually gluten free but they make sure no cross contamination by providing individual bags of chips.

Maudie's is one of our favorite Mexican food restaraunts in Austin. The Tex-Mex food is consistently good but the outdoor seating is what makes it a great spot in mild weather.

Nice environment, it is loud but not a deal breaker. You can eat inside or outside. We enjoy the food and go there at once when we come to town. It easy, like Austin, so give it a try!

I love visiting Maudie's when I come to visit my sister in Austin. The food is such a nice variety of TexMex. My favorite appetizer is the queso blanco. I could literally bathe in it is so delicious......The potato taco's are also one of my favorite's. Every time we go there, the service is wonderful. They are so accommodating and... More

Went to a late breakfast at Maudie's Milagro. Decided to sit outside. It was 11 am so it wasn't brutally hot yet but it was tolerable under a fan and I was able to see the hills. I ate potato, bacon, and egg tacos. They were good for a breakfast taco. I really like the taste of their salsa. So... More

Whenever in Austin we always seem to end up at Maudie's for a late breakfast or lunch. We continue to go back because it is a fun place with a varied menu, with emphasis on Mexican food. The service is always good, even though we usually have a big group, and food is delicious. We will definitely keep it on... More

Since 2008 I have been coming here to have a meal around the time of my birthday. This is a “special occasion” location due to scenery, and always relaxed nature of the venue. I’ve always gotten good service here, which was one of the reasons why I’d come back. When I went for my comfort food this year (my favorite... More

Food is bland, service is so-so, restaurant is noisy. Go for happy hour, enjoy the sunset from the patio.
