I'm in Austin visiting--this is one of the few restaurant that I really enjoy going to. The staff I'd very nice. The food is just delicious! You need to stop here!

Im a 28 year Austin resident and by far El Alma is my favorite cantina. I tell all who ask for recommendations to come here. Plenty of parking and right between Austin's best parks on Barton Springs Road.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while visiting Austin and I'm really glad we did. The food was delicious. They had a great menu. Prices were reasonable. We had great service. Would highly recommend this place.

Good Mexican food. Duck relleno, pork chop marinated in coke, both were good. I looked the Michelada. Avocadorita (avocado margarita) was clearly a margarita and avocado, better than expected and worth trying.

This is a great place to stop if you're out walking around the lake or want to escape S. Lamar craziness. The rooftop is perfect pretty much year around, and the stuffed pepper with duck is truly great.

A competitive cafe in a city with so much good Tex-Mex. We stopped in on a cold evening to grab a bite and had a wonderful meal. The cafe is open and bright, the service is good, and the food has that wonderful authentic flavor....More
