We stopped here for a snack because it is right by the "Greetings from Austin" wall. We picked out a few macarons and they were excellent. Good texture and flavor.

WHAT WORKED: plenty of parking; comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. WHAT DIDN'T WORK: we tried four pastries--the pain au chocolat, the butter croissant, the morning bun with pecans, and the cinnamon crobrio. Each was dry and flavorless. We visited at 11 am so they were not stale. They simply were not good. Cannot recommend.

Dropped by here for a croissant fix and a flat white, couldn't get a flat white but did get a very good cappuccino, the croissant was a little overlooked and not quite flaky enough but a valiant attempt (apparently the humidity in Texas is a problem) keep on trying guys Texas needs you! The place itself is very cool and... More

We are searching for a chocolatine (almond/chocolate croissant type of breakfast delight). The dough wasn't as flakey as I am used to. The mission continues to find the perfect one in Austin. The desserts look great.

Yesterday I bicycled down to a small pastry shop set in one of the few older modest houses still in Austin. Though serving a limited selection of fresh made treats, La Paisserie has maintain a genteel ambiance that appeals to me with a distinctly quiet echo of being in Paris. Seating is available inside plus outside on the small porch... More

I went here many times while living in Austin and was sure to stop in on my most recent visit! I love that they switch up the macaron flavors. The vanilla's my favorite every time but the others never disappoint!

Thoroughly enjoyed the GF Chocolate Hazelnut Cake. Great Service & Food all in charming old house that reminds me of my childhood home. The Lemonade Spritzer was a beautiful and refreshing drink just as described. Can't wait to visit again

If you want the best pastries and desserts in Austin go here! The Cro-brios are fantastic, but so is every other dessert!

A little hard to find, but worth trying. Lots of choices for fresh baked items. Not a very big place, so probably best for couples or small groups.

My best friend and I went to this place because it is one of the few places we could find macarons in Austin when I visited her recently! The building is an adorable old house that is repurposed into a little café. They have yummy pastries and coffee, as well as the macarons (which were not the best I've had,... More
