We decided to eat here while we were visiting rainy Street. So glad we did! The service and food were great. We had chicken tandoori and a tikka Masala with a few sides. Everything was delicious!

The smell draws you in. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably priced wines. North Indian food, good fresh Naan.

We have recently returned from India and this food is authentic. I had the lamb chops (which I have to admit I never did see on Indian menus) but they were delicious, just not hot, actually barely even warm. The side dishes of dahl and curry and naan and papadum were very good. If we ever make it back to... More

Lovely venue but really not great food. Curry was bland even when I ordered desi and when I asked for spice they brought a sauce which was chilli paste and water. I asked if they had fresh chilli and was told they do not. An Indian restaurant that had no fresh chillis I guess that is why the flavor was... More

Although I am not a huge Indian cuisine aficionado, I visited here on the advice of a friend , and was glad I did. Food was tasty and well-seasoned, and portion sizes were perfect. Service was only so-so.

Went down in Rainey Street to go to Bangers, but it was so damn busy (long wait line of 2 hours) we searched for another place to eat, this was a nice surprise, food was excellent, and the service was also good, we'd go again. One bad thing, the clear plastic walls, don't keep birds from flying all over and... More

If you like Indian food this is the place for you. Vegetarian and chicken dishes are made to order. Terrific naan. The four of us had a chicken tandoori with dal, vegetable tikka masala and chicken rogan josh.

Casual dining facility with delicious indian food. Any restaurant on Rainey St will have a long wait, just need to decide what you want to wait for. Eclectic, very Austin-vibe ish location

After a few beers next door, we were hungry and this spot smelled sooo good from the street. We stopped in and order Chicken Masala and a yogurt- based curry. The waitress was very helpful, especially considering our ignorance of Indian cuisine. The food was really good! Spicy means spicy, so, if you are a bit hesitant about hot food,... More
