If you are in Austin and looking for great food and great sevice then you will love this gem. I had the Creme Brule French toast and WOW! Packed with flavor and served with a strawberry butter puree on the side, it is pure bliss! They also had a special which was a sweet potato hash and that also was... More

A lost gem. The menu is fabulous. Asparagus Benedict, Grapefruit Mimosa, Lox Omlette. Quaint seating on outside payio, and we snuck into the bar to sit to avoid a wait. Friendly people, and it has the ferl of Old Town Austin--as in vintage. We'll be back again.

Nice place for lunch or dinner. Quick soup and sandwich or dinner with salad and dessert -- Russell's Bistro is the place to go.

Relaxed neighborhood bistro, good food, a place to see your neighbors. Great for a business meeting.

This place never disappoints me. I've been here many times for lunch, several times for dinner and now for brunch. The food is tasty new takes on familiar favorites. (For brunch I had sweet potato hash topped with an egg.) Service is always pleasant but unobtrusive. On Monday nights they have 50% off bottles of wine.

I had the shrimp & chicken scampi with mushroom risotto and roasted cauliflower. Every bite was a delight. I had a very hard time deciding what to eat, everything on the menu sounded so good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, the food arrived hot and perfectly done, and she was attentive without going too far. I highly recommend this... More

Stopped by after conducting sales calls on Camp Mabry. Location not far at all. We did the HALF sandwich and small salad... We dos the Greek and the Roasted Turkey sandwich AND for dessert we split the flourless mocha cake....and grabbed a cappuccino- so delish and this little cute brick cozy restaurant is yet another keeper.

Been here twice for dinner before going to shows at Bass. Both times we've been amazed by the quality and flavor of the food. The service is excellent. Friendly and knowledgable staff. We couldn't decide on our aides so we agreed to share. Our sides were brought out in individual bowls for us to make it easier to split. The... More

As brunch places in Austin become more and more unbearable with their long wait times and less than desirable service, this place was a refreshing discovery. We went to Russell's for brunch after wanting to try it out for a while. The wait wasn't bad at all, even though we went in the middle of brunch without a reservation. They... More

I made a reservation through Open Table and even though they were very busy, we were welcomed and seated immediately. The service was very good throughout the brunch and the food was excellent. The Bistro Omelette was my favorite. In particular we enjoyed the sides of fresh fruit, roasted potatoes and croissant that were included so that you didn't have... More
