It seems tiny, but it actually isn’t - there’s a whole bunch di little tiny rooms , and you Dan usually find a spot. There’s good coffee/tea, even better baked goods, and the baristas tend to actually care. So yeah, worth it…

Very tasty selections, although the menu is a little limited. There are some healthy drinks and food options. Seating is not the most comfortable, but it is a nice little place to grab a quick bite. We visited a couple of times while in Austin for a long weekend and will go again when in town.

I treated a family member to an afternoon tea here for her birthday. Living out of town, I wasn't sure what to expect. My first impression was that the venue was casual and friendly. It has that Keep-Austin-Weird vibe, in the best way. There is abstract art on the walls, a worn look to the wood trim and floors, signs with pithy sayings, and a glass case full of pastries when you walk in the door. Three of us each got to choose our own teas and we each got our own pots. We were all pleased with our selections. The food was the real star! Everything, from the top tier of the serving tray down, was scrumptious, and we were impressed by both the variety and abundance of choices. We had three types of savory tea sandwiches that featured cucumber, hummus, chutney, spinach and cheese. There were also scones and pastries, all cooked to perfection. Afternoon tea is not supposed to be a meal, and I have left hungry from many, but not this one. We savored every bite and still took some finger sandwiches home. I appreciated the service and that once I'd paid online to reserve our space, the tip was included and our bill was settled. There is a separate room for afternoon tea, but understand that it is a casual atmosphere. There were two folks on their laptops at the table next to ours. The place isn't formal, but I much prefer its relaxed vibe and generous offerings, which make for a fun and satisfying experience. Bonus: There is onsite parking.

After seeing it highly recommended for families with young children we decided to give it a shot. Immediately upon walking in we were hit with a sewage smell. We still decided to stay. The smell got worse and eventually we had to just get up and leave. The dessert i briefly tried was average at best.

That dark haired baker in the back that always smiles at people and laughs a lot makes without a doubt the best fruit tarts I have ever consumed (or at least imagined doing so) on the face of this planet

While visiting the Austin area, a friend brought me to this coffee shop. It was amazing! The coffee was great and I ordered a spinach and feta quiche (I believe) that was SO good. We planned to go out to dinner shortly thereafter and needed a little something to hold us over. It was perfect!

You know that you love a place when you go back more than once while visiting a city. Three visits later . . . and I am in love with BSH! Good Food: Try the pot pie! Local Vibe: Like someone's living room. Seating Galore: Seating was plentiful. Office Love: You can def work here: outlets, wifi, printing. Parking: Maybe just because I come from Parking Hell San Francisco, but the lot was really convenient. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Austin.

There is coffee and breakfast items, several rooms, and outdoor area, and of course, WiFi. Rooms can be reserved or rented for private affairs as well. Plenty of parking.

One of the best new places I have tried. Service was great abd I loved the millionaire bar as well. The relaxation tea was hot. The thing that was the best was the chicken pot pie. It takes a while for them to prepare it. The only problem is that it is burning hot when you get it. Piping hot, I mean so you have to cut it in peices. One of the best chicken pot pies I have had in Austin and I will be back. The crust was delicious and flaky. Will be coming here instead of the coffee shop.it is a great place sbd I recommend it.they have grear danish. I came back and had some really good croissant here. I liked the cheddar cheese croissant. The first was burnt so they give me a second one once I complained. The tea is delicious abs I love blueberry tea with simple syrup and milk. They have free WiFi sbd the chronicle to read. I had to get s recommendation of good because everything looks great. I could not decide between the chocolate croissant or cheese croissant. It seems every time I came here I run into a neighbor or someone I know/ . I will be back. Wish the parking lot was bigger/

A group of 8 friends had an wonderful bachelorette party at Brentwood Social House this past weekend! As the matron of honor, I made the reservation months early and secured a spot with Suzanne, the owners. We went with the basic package, which is $29 for three kinds of sandwiches, a blueberry scone, and a piece of lemon pound cake. All food were fresh and super delicious! There is a huge selection of tea, and I highly recommend the berry hibiscus and vanilla honey :) Neither has caffeine but both are super delicious! The food doesn’t look a lot but it fills one up! When I saw the food tower came, I thought I would get a whataburger after having afternoon tea, but half way through the tea, I got full, really full. Don’t underestimate the amount of food by the look of it! A LOT! Thank you Brentwood Social for a memorable bachelorette party!
