Their Seafood Gumbo is hands down the best I've ever had! The atmosphere and service are also top-notch! You should definitely give it a try.

Great Seafood!!

I ordered a combo of 2 fried catfish, 4 shrimp, and 4 fried oysters, and it was amazingly delicious! the batter was so good! the service was quick and the food came out quick! this is a must try if you area in the Arlington area! they didn't have any crawfish around the time I went but I would love to try their crawfish! so I will be back!

Best Crawfish in DFW

If you like the true Louisiana style crawfish then this place is for you! It’s been hard trying to find a place in the area who serves crawfish like when I visit Louisiana. The place was packed but the line moved swiftly. The staff was really friendly as well. Check out the desserts, the lemon pie, Italian Cream Cake sweet potato cake were delicious.

Great Cajun food

This is the closest I'll get to New Orleans until I take a trip there. The food here was delicious!!! The shrimp po boy and gumbo was so good. All I needed was a hurricane and that would have completed my meal. Lol Overall great food and service also if you get a fountain drink the refills are free.

Still looking for some good frog legs....

Been searching the area for some good hole in the wall cajun food but all I found here was a long wait and flavorless food.....the gumbo was more like a seafood soup ( a roux base is required to be considered a gumbo in my opinion.) The Frog legs were nothing but a big wad of overcooked, deep fried batter, on a bone.... along with soggy fries...wont be back.

Best Real Catfish in town

This place has the best real catfish I have had in Arlington. They have fillet or whole fried catfish so you know you are getting the real deal. They also have frog legs,turkey necks,deserts and a whole lot more. Too much to list. You need to stop in and see for yourself. The lines are always out the door but you can call in your order.The prices are so cheap compared to other places we've eaten at.

New orleans? I think not

This is a sad excuse for New Orleans cuisine. I dont see how this place has a 4.5/5 rating. I assumed by the name it's owners were black, but to my surprise they weren't of Asian decent. I ordered a lb of crawfish, catfish basket, and small cup of gumbo. The crawfish is only 5.99/lb and I see why. They're small and this place doesnt season them. No way this is Louisiana crawfish. The catfish was bland, had no taste. It honestly didn't even taste like catfish. How do you have seafood gumbo with no crab???! I won't be back, idc how low the prices are. The food is cheap for a reason.

Crawfish, Crawfish, Crawfish

If you are too lazy to make some your self, this place hands down is one of the best I've had for Crawfish! Oh and please don't forget about the turkey necks and gumbo! As far as the catfish is concerned, well...it's meh and needs a bit More seasoning but for the price you can't complain to much! The fish is better eaten on location cause if you wait until you get home, it gets stiff and cold Quick ! I will be back though and it's worth the long lines!

Favorite Catfish Place

We've been going to this restaurant for several years, when it first started as Top Cat, out of Dallas. The menu is largely the same as it was then, with catfish, oysters, shrimp, red beans and rice, gumbo, crawfish, and more. The catfish filets are crispy with a cornmeal breading, The French fries are fine, as are the accompanying hush puppies. The catfish is moist, not mushy, and has never had the "dirt" taste that catfish sometimes has. We prefer Bayou Cat's catfish filet to the higher priced catfish at Sam's Catfish. Occasionally, the manager gives us cups of red beans and rice for free, and we are often given an extra filet with our order. The creamy red beans and rice have a smoky flavor and have large chunks of sausage; the seasonings are fantastic! We see people buy bags of cooked crawfish, but, since we're not crawfish afficionados, we pass on these. Servings at Bayou Cat are large and the drinks are self-serve, and the prices are very reasonable. We haven't been disappointed yet!

Great Southern Seafood

The food here is amazing. The crawfish and red beans and rice were full of southern flavor. Can't find too many places like this in Texas. Definitely recommend.
