A group of 6 went to the bar for happy hour at 3pm with happy hour from 3-5 and all the chairs were upside down on the bar and tables. They were working on the beer taps and suggested we return the next day. Happy hour the next day was also from 3-5 but there was a sign on the... More

We made a reservation for 8pm for a Friday night. While we were seated right away we were told that they were out of the flounder that was on the menu. Took a long time to have our drinks served and even longer to get our 2nd choices for entrees served. We had to ask another server to bring us... More

Excellent service. Great bar food, big enough to be a meal. Good spot for people watching and counting trucks. Bartender was great and able to make me a non-alcoholic drink (pregnant) and my husband loved the habanero margarita. Stop in, have a drink and a bite, and enjoy the people watching!

Hubby and I really enjoyed The Century Bar during our stay at the Holland Hotel. We also enjoyed Easter brunch at the Grill. Fantastic quiche, eggs Benedict along with apple strudel .. we were lucky enough that the were running short on the strudel so one of us got a chocolate tart. Great service too !!! We would highly recommend... More

We had high expectations when we went to the restaurant. We came early as we didn't have reservations. We had to wait a few minutes while the wait staff prepared a table for us - they seemed unprepared for the evening patrons, altho they had only one table seated at this point. Once we were seated, the waitress took our... More

We stopped here because it had good reviews. We left after half an hour because we felt invisible. The employees were so busy talking to each other we were totally ignored.

Enjoyed a great meal at the snazzy bar. Good selection of wines by the glass a nice way to start the meal. Then went all Texan style with a Peach Haberno Margarita surprising mix of sweet hot and sour but it worked. The blackened wedge was better than I hoped and I had high expectations and finally the Guava Jalapeño... More

We wanted something to eat that was closeby and this for the bill. The food was pretty decent, and the service pretty good. It seems very overpriced for what it offers though. I mean, i have been to Michelin-Star award restaurants that charge less than this place, so that is a bit of a sign ...

My husband and I arrived at the hotel Monday afternoon, checked in and hit the bar for happy hour. Choose from creative Texas cocktails like the White Bison or the Cinnamon Whiskey Sour. Be sure to try the Big Bend Brewing Company featured beers like the Terlingua Gold or Tejas Lager plus 3 others. You'll find bottled domestics and Mexican... More

Enjoyed Sunday brunch, food was excellent (eggs benedict) and very reasonable. Friend had bloody mary which was very good, mimosa not my favorate. Even though slightly understaffed due to large unexpected patrons, All staff chipped in and Sara, our waitress was FIRSTCLASS. Be sure to ask for Sara! Visited two other occasions at the bar which was lively, but not... More
