We shared the fajitas for two for dinner. Plenty of food. Friendly staff. The salsa was hot...would cure anything that ails you. Would definitely go again.

I grew up with this type of food. The food is very authentic. A lot of days you get new styles on Fresh Mex and tex mex in the flashy new restaurants. This food is original, the food is very good, the restaurant is it cute, old, an original Little Gem.

Farolito's is located in a quiet part of Abilene. The building and eating area reflect much character and history...this is a long established Abilene landmark restaurant. Thje wait staff is prompt, friendly and fast. The menu has an abundance of items plus the specials. I like the menu because it has options for tacos and enchalada ala carte for a... More

Tucked away in a quiet corner is this family owned gem. A current family member is the top-notch chef carrying on old tradition while creating new ones. Decor is older but you can hear history there. Family lives on site.

This place seriously looks like someone's grandparent's house. The food is good and fresh, especially the chips. No stale, old oil taste on them. A little hard to get to if you aren't sure of where you are going but definitely worth trying. There's a reason it's been around since forever.

It's a "hole in the wall" kind of place. EXCELLENT Mexican food. You won't be disappointed. Try the pralines when you leave!! (wow, delicious too)

Really good Mexican and Tex Mex food. Old Abilene staple restaurant. Not fancy, but if you just want a good plate of authentic Mexican food, it's a good place to eat.

When entering Farolito's don't be discouraged by the old fashioned Grandma decor. I wasn't sure what to expect but based on advice from friends I decided to get the queso followed by a combination platter. Oh my goodness I was in food heaven! We all ordered something different so we could share bites of lots of different things and I... More
