Compared to higher rated but less appealing restaurants on Anderson's Main Street, dinner at Doolittle's offered a classic atmosphere, friendly and attentive service, diverse menu with generous entrees (each comes with two sides plus a soup or salad), and the best live dinner music I have ever experienced (check out lcbranchmusic.com). We ordered the crab cakes and grilled scallops (nicely... More

This old building, has been thoughtfully restored to retain some of the historical charm (e.g., brick walls); but incorporating more modern aspects (i.e., exposed ceiling duct-work). The restaurant was very clean. The waitress was warm, friendly, inviting, and answered our questions effortlessly. The food was scrumptious. Many more items on the menu to tempt us back many times. Great find...

The food was so-so ... and expensive. The service was mediocre, I had to ask for a refill on my drink and the server seemed overwhelmed. It was horrible but I'd rather go to J Peters or Sullivan's.

Friend recommended this restaurant, day we went with friends we found the restaurant to be dark and of little interest. We went outside and the weather was a little chilly so being that we were sitting in the shade of building we were not happy. burger was ok nothing special.

Dined with friends. Enjoyed a glass of $4 Reisling then appetiser of boiled shrimp. Shrimp were large, perfectly cooked, and very tasty. Also had sliced tomatoes with fresh spinach, feta and balsamic vinaigrette. Wonderful service from our waitress Alice:)

Been here a few times for both lunch and dinner. No disappointments any of the times. Very good food and service has also been great too. The oddity here is that there are no separation of restrooms so whichever one is open, you use.
