Food is great... definitely different than your average restaurant. They have popcorn with toppings on it... my favorite is bacon topped popcorn I hope this place never gets rid of that. Beers are all different something like you have never had before but that's a good thing. There is always people there friendly service too.

We love this place for it's home-brews and food. Can't say how many times over the years we've gone their - maybe 40 times. Most of the time we bring the dog and sit outside on their deck. Their beers are lovely. I'm not a fan of sour beer, and they willingly let me taste their beers (so I can... More

What a wonderful surprise ! This is an old house converted into a cool little restaurant, the beers are top notch and the Scallops are fabulous. All by myself on a business trip, Ubered over no problem. Lots of locals so it must be good was my first reaction, and I was right.

We had the beet and goat cheese salad, blue cheese and roasted brussel sprouts, the chili which was EXCELLENT! We also had theMonte Cristo and grill cheese with bacon. Almost forgot the parmesan cheese and pepper popcorn. Beer wise we had their IPA, essence of a brain, memories of a man and the lightest beer they make. I want to... More

How do you stand out in an ever-growing crowd of craft breweries? Forest & Main has a pretty good formula: brew some English style beers to condition in casks and pull the pints from an array of beer engines in a charming 19th century house with original floors. In the Belgian-centric Philly beer scene, you are already standing out. The... More

Is there really a brew pub down this street? In this house? Really? Quite an earthy experience. Great beers Great staff Far out decorating - acid flashback time Had already eaten but menu and plates served looked great. I'll be back to hang on the porch when it warms up a tad

My husband has driven by this place for a while, but couldn't believe it was a brewery. It is! We went there last night and had beers and dinner. First, he got fish and chips which were unbelievable! Their beer batter was the best both my husband & I have ever had! We also ordered a side of onion rings... More

Have been here multiple times and although the limited food menu and the selection of IPA's are good, each time the service has gotten progressively worse. We sat outside on an unusually warm Saturday afternoon in February, and after our party of 5 sat there for 5 minutes we asked one of the servers if we could be helped. We... More

Came here last week to check it out. Being craft beer lovers and foodies this place was the best of both. Great unfiltered beer. Nice atmosphere. Much smaller then pictured. A must try if in Ambler

Our table was ready at the time of our reservation, which was a good thing since the bar area is tiny and there was standing room only. The atmosphere is of an old house so it is very cozy and warm...in a friendly way. Very short food menu, which I LOVE b/c you have a better idea that the food... More
