My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We decided to split a 14 inch cheesesteak. The guy who took our order and prepared the sandwich was great, polite and covered all the bases about what we wanted on the cheesesteak. The picture on the website showed the beautiful cannoli pasties, but there are no pastries at all at this restaurant. Good pizza and wings. Best to order take-out or delivery as there are only 2 small tables.

If you like a lot of steak in your sub then is the place to buy it.The Strombolis are also stuffed with meat and cheese they are the best I ever ate. The place is small but very clean. The workers are always friendly. They are closed Sunday and Monday.

We absolutely LOVE this place! Everyone I have talked to that has tried 19th street pizza has only great things to say! Have not had anything from here that we did not like. 19th street and 29th street pizza are jointed.

This is an excellent place. It is part of the dying mom and pop shop era. Excellent pizza and subs. Will definitely be back.

Have ordered a couple of times. Always pleasant fast service and the yellow Sicilian pizza is very close to the original Altoona Hotel Pizza. If you like this style of pizza this is the place to get it.Will be back for more!!

Miles started making Altoona Hotel Style Pizza several months ago. It was only available on Wednesdays. After listening to his customers and the overall demand for this pizza, it is now available Wednesdays thru Saturdays. Listening to your customers is what helps a business stay alive in today's business world.. Keep up the good work Miles and Crew..... Joel A.... More

I have been away from Altoona for about 25 years now. I live about 7 hours West of Altoona in Ohio. I have always longed for the strombolis that I grew up on. Recently on a trip to Penn State ,we stopped in Altoona and ate here. My wife, my son, and I each had a Stromboli which was excellent,... More

Miles at 19th Street Pizza makes some the best pizza in the area. I must say that it is the first pizza I have had in a long time that did not disappoint me.
