It is probably my first choice of a Filipino restaurant that is not quite fast food and also not really fine dining. It is reliable and dependable with a good variety and mix of local dishes and also local desserts. Their selection for mid afternoon snack or what we call merienda is so welcome as these are not easy to... More

My favorite FIlipino comfort food is bibingka and my favorite place to get it is Via Mare. I never tire of eating Via Mare's bibingka and my favorite is the one with duck's egg and Laguna cheese. It just brings back memories of my childhood and of Christmas. I have this with salabat which is so soothing. I also love... More

Cafe Via Mare is one of the early restaurant where my family, friends and I use to have either Lunch or snacks whenever we go shopping at Trinoma Complex in Quezon City. Its location in the 2nd floor of Landmark Dept Store in Trinoma complex makes it very accessible specially for shoppers. There are many Filipino balik-bayans always eating at... More

Filipino resto with charging with not-so-Filipino price. food is a bit pricey for a so-so resto. i understand it's an old fave, but there are a lot more restos in the metro more worth our while.

When burger, french fries, cappuccino, pizzas, spaghetti and all foreign sounding foods are no longer appetizing to us, there is just one restaurant that me and my husband would go - VIA MARE. No buts no ifs - go to 2f Landmark Trinoma and criss cross along the ladies wear - Via Mare it is. Our long time favorite is... More

Every once in a while I come here to eat the popular bibingka ( rice cake ) and puto bumbong. It is best eaten while it is hot because I tried taking home one time the bibingka and it didn't taste that good anymore.
