Took breakfast at this hotel daily for five days whilst staying at the hotel for a conference. The staff here seem well focused in sharp contrast to other areas of the hotel. Wonderful selection of sweet and savoury offering for breakfast and the usual egg station and noodle station. Nice juices. Relaxed setting even though the restaurant was very busy.... More

More reminiscent of a school or factory canteen, this place packs in far too many people for comfort. On the Sunday evening I dined here there were many very large tables celebrating birthdays. In the space of an hour large groups of staff sang "Happy Birthday" five times at the tops of their voices, clapping at the same time. Quite... More

Review is for breakfast a la carte. Pro: Remarkable food portioning with fresh food choices (except for the very hard wheat loaves). Cons: Service is the absolute worse any guest could encounter in a fine dining restaurant and inconsistency with the food preparation is evidence of the lack of training among the restaurant's staff. A disrespectful staff (Michael Julian) answering... More

While the quality of the food is excellent, there isn't a lot of selection available. I expected more for that price tag. For me, it's 'nakakabitin.' I was expecting to be wowed because Cafe Ilang-Ilang was touted as one of the best buffets in the city, but I found it lacking. After I toured all the stations, I can't help... More

Excellent spread - there's a Japanese section with sushi, salmon and tuna sashimi, tempura, fried rice, salmon and beef teppanyaki and soba. They have a halal Indian/Arab/Persian section serving hummus, salads, dal, rogan josh, paneer and other curries. Their international section has a Chinese subsection, with dimsum, noodles and Peking duck; a small Korean section usually with beef soup; a... More

It was our family December buffet night when we went here. I did not see a single table unoccupied. I booked as early as possible to maximize the buffet hours. This is not a cheap buffet and the goal was to sample the raved dishes of the night. No free liquor or wine. I was impressed by the Italian station... More

Found maybe seven food stations - there are a LOT of choices. Most you can see at other buffet places. What makes this better is the place itself - the ambiance and its staff. Staff are very courteus and accomodating. While in some buffet places you find it difficult for the shef to cook something for you, here it's easy... More

At first, Passing through the lobby area was so impressive upon seeing the gigantic chandeliers with the soothing music reverberating around it. Cafe Ilang -Ilang is brightly lighted with huge native ceiling decors complemented with well-spaced tables and vibrant hues of colors. Spicy Aglio Olio pasta matched with perfectly grilled steak and salads is my best choice.

Good coffee. Excellent salads and fruits. All kinds of meat, fish and seafood. Good options for breakfast or dinner. You can eat what you want at any time of the day with family and friends.
