Searched it out on the basis of a recommendation, as a quaint place to go for a small bite, and would be comfortable on my own. It met those criteria. Nice place, on edge of Chinatown. Saloon doors looked a bit out of place. Food nothing to write home about, not freshly cooked and not particularly hot. I didn't bother... More

I went with a friend and it was a very good choice. I enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered: the seafood, the chicken, the veggies and the pork. The food portion is enough to feed one person, with 4 dishes and 2 persons to eat, we had to eat a lot to finish with them! The price is fair... More

Very cool historic building in Chinatown with saloon doors and lots of old black & white photos. Had the 'top hats' and cuttlefish salad to start. Then had 2 typical Malay dishes of fried rice and chicken curry washed down with a refreshing lemongrass juice.

The food here is pretty decent and the decor is enjoyable (maybe takes you back 100 years). The beef rendang is decent for the price. The pie tie (little top hats) were just ok. The place is mostly full of tourists on the weekend. You can find better for the price in KL, but this is certainly a reliable choice.

This place is well set out, walls covered in old photos of kl. our local friends took us here, for what was promised as, the crispiest spring rolls. The food was delicious. I'm veggie and I enjoyed it. Try the blue rice.

Old China is a favorite of a local feiend of mine so he brought me here for a late lunch. The food was delcious, I got one of the prawn dishes on my friends recommendation. The decor is very unique as well as quaint and comfortable. A lot of old Chinese family portraits. Makes you feel transported back in time.... More

A regular lunch stop of mine on frequent visits to Chinatown KL for 10 years. The perling paint, seedy atmosphete and rude service all add to the attraction! Menu consists of Baba-Nonya and Malaysian cuisine, well cooked, delicious and well presented, Prices on the high side, but it is aleays full. An experience not to be missed.

I went here because a friend of mine recommended it and also because we were in the area. We had top hats, Siu Yok devil curry, rice and Sago gula melaka. The layer of fat on the Siu Yok was not rendered nicely and was pretty much raw and tough. Sago gula melaka did not use pure gula melaka and... More
